Just picked this up at pawn shop. Whenever you buy there you never know if you are paying too much or not. I thought since it looked like an old titlist I could always break even on it.

Comes with one old shaft and it looks like a couple newer ones.

I wonder who is the maker .... any ideas?

Ken,
NICE PICKUP ....

VERY cool.

I definitely dig that cue.

No idea who made it though....I would be guessing.

The new shafts tongues, ferrule, and tip work look like Pete T, Barry S, Dennis S... They're done very nice.

Bushka..........You jerkin our chain??

No just having some fun but the folks like you are too good, so I couldn't fool anyone. AZ has so many guys that know more than me, but I like to play guess the cuemaker. I guess right sometimes, but there are lots of guys that are better at it than me.

What I like about the cue are the rings and the butt sleeve with the veneers. It is different enough that I think I wont see another exactly like it.

I am not a fan of the copies or tributes or whatever you call them.

The posted document specifies a "new dark brown bumper". The bumper in the pics looks black to me.

I didn't want to guess as I am obviously not very qualified to ID a genuine GB.

I did notice the black bumper so I looked for that when the document was posted.

Was it changed? Or is it just that the color is off in the pic? Maybe it's my monitor?

So what do you think of the wrap, since I know it ties into the question you asked in the other section.

Hey we had a run on titlists... maybe I sent one to Pete... :D

Another nice Bushka for the gallery...

I remember your other thread with this cue. To be honest, I would have changed the wrap, and finished it to look like Cortland. Pete does this very well.

However, not a criticism, and it's a great cue. The joint collars look that that transition period when George was moving from plain black collars to the classic nickel silver, and a few were done with the slightly broader white material. Whatever, great find, and it's in good hands.

All the best,
WW

Why would you change the original Cortland? This is one of those cues where you leave it as original as possible.. and Pete did that. Trust me, I bet this wrap is right up there after Petes work on it... I always advocate keeping what you can as far as the original appointments.
Its amazing the people that tried to low ball the crap out of me.. look at this cue .. its the epitome of 1960's Bushka..
