Another revo convert..

I almost see a need for an IROC style tournament. Same cue, same maker, same weight... let the best man (or woman) win....

Call it the "Wallybushka Open". New, out-of-the-wrapper Dufferin bar-cues. Choose your weight. Chalk it up and get it on!!

It’s not a bad idea !! Everyone gets a plain Jane cue with the same tip and wieght. Who can make the adjustments to play with them the best to win the tournament lol

Jackpot

are you telling me i could get paid to play with a cue,
get a canned ham,and make money for talking?
Where do i sign up?

I am available at the present.
Further more I would consider coming out of retirement
if someone would stake my play and give me half the profits.

I have a tremendous record,no one has ever lost money betting on me.
No one ,thats right not a single living soul.

Jack pot himself can testify that no one except him and a few other oak cliff boys ever bet on me

since then i never had a stakehorse and as far as i can remember, everyone has bet on my opponent everytime I played,

I am now ready for the canned ham and free cues and money

Sorry I can’t help you more. I guess that’s current market value, since it’s been sold.

This is the market conditions they Apple utilizes, they create a buzz, then short change on orders claiming not enough phones can be made in time. This drives up interest and customers line up in droves for the next shipment.

Something tells me, Predator will have a boat load of Revos just in time for the expo and it will be open season, "get them while they last" conditions.

Its actually quite brilliant. They always were great at marketing.

I'm hoping that they do have a boat load for the expo in the new rumored 11.8mm version.

Well I somehow snagged one today for retail price from an authorized dealer. Very random. Supposedly there will be some available this week at some places. Now I just need to find a 12.4 Uniloc for one pocket.

Brilliant to some maybe. Pretty transparent to me. It can only be one of two things..... production problems, or slickster marketing practices.

Here's what I think is going to happen. A whole lot of people will jump on the wagon. Some will like it and play well with it. And some people will feel it doesn't stand up to the claims, and there will be a bunch of used ones on the market place. And the ones that paid 700 will never get close to 500 for them.... Predator will catch up (or just release more) and have plenty for sale at 500 new. After all, who will pay 450 or 500 for a used one when you can get a new on for that price.

There were many available the fact is the like to dislike proportion is obviously tilted and with comments like from the DCC that it was a sea of Revos many more like them than don't that's what drove the secondary sales up

Remember two years ago, they had the Revo release at the expo but you could only get 12.9mm and it only came with an entire cue purchase.

Their reasoning was something along the lines of they didn't want someone buying a revo and putting it on a Lucasi and not getting the full potential of the Revo.
At the time there were no immediate plans for a Revo shaft for sale in its own, no plans for alternate sizes, or pin selections. (I actually called predator to talk to them directly on this).

Then fast forward to the next year, Revos available on their own and with another size 12.4mm. (Hmmm but I thought they said...etc etc)

So this year, being the 3rd Expo for Revo, they are pulling out all the stops including shorting the market to drive up demand.

Its also why you see a ton of players who own the 12.9mm and the 12.4mm because predator initially said 12.9mm was the only size....

So now a "rumored" 11.8mm Revo...by all means don't be honest with that pool playing community because someone might actually wait for the size they want. Can't have that at predator headquarters (sarcasm).
