Any Brackets Up For Super Bill expo?

Maybe I am looking at it wrong,,but for the few that did not get a bye in the first round,,,if they then lost,,,they had play their arses off through the losers side.

And for the ones that did get a bye and won the first/next match only, then lost,,,,they got put up way far into the losers side,,,just out of 25th place,,from winning only 1 match.

3 matches separates the two placements from playing 1 match.

It does not seem fair,,but really,,Maybe I am looking at this wrong. Since I am comparing someone who lost first match and someone who won first match.

It still seems to me,,,that for such a major tournament ,,,could have made a bracket ,that matches the playing field better.

If there is NO better way,,,then I apologize now.

Thing about the byes is that those that win their first round match have really won two matches - they got a bye in the first round, which translates as a win.

The problem is that they only had 68 players to fill a 128 player chart. This meant a few unlucky players didn't bye out of the first round. Had they limited it to a 64 player field there would have been no byes to deal with at all.

Why didn't the Phillipinos play?

Filipinos, not Phillipinos.

As of this morning, at the time of this writing, there is still one one mention of
this 5-day event on AzBilliards Main Page in the form of a press release.:embarrassed2:

Someone from Allen Hopkins' staff should be assigned this task throughout the event, from day one to the final day, IMO. :)
