Any cool pool images for a tattoo?

Correct - remember the infamous fictional character "Milady De Winter" and what happened to her , of course we can't go around chopping off heads but the notion of a tatoo on a woman is a label of disreputable character and it is an old one going back in time.

My girl, has the "Tramp stamp" the butterfly on the small of her back, I like it on her it works, she is square, no drinking, drugs, smoking, gambling-nothing. Sweet and there for me 200%, I told Rissa about her when I first met her, I'm proud her. however she is the exception to the rule 90.83545% of the time I dont like ink on girls, but thats just me.

Her name is Kelly and has met about 5-6 people from AZ and everyone who has met her like her, I'll bet the world anyone here who would met her likes her, we been together 9 years, couldnt be happier, how strong is that. I'm the f%@#$ up in the realtionship, but she knows at the end of the day she has nothing to worrry about,

Any who sees a pool tattoo on you will take GREAT pleasure in beating you, so had better be able to back it up.

Years ago, when I used to play darts, I was waiting for my turn to play at a bar, and I was matched up with this guy who had a huge dartboard tattooed on his shoulder- my game was decent but not great, and I figured he was gonna kill me.

We were playing cricket- he got ahead of me early and- instead of going for the win- kept banging me (unneccessarily) with points, just to show off a bit- only problem was that when he finally decided to end it, he couldn't buy a bulls-eye.

I started hitting a couple of bulls each turn while he continued to miss 'em- people were actually cheering for me (a rarity in darts in the US:p )- I ended up erasing the point deficit and beating him, and he left the bar in embarrassment and disgust (he was without a doubt the better player- he just got cocky)- the tattoo made it all the sweeter- he had to live up to it, and didn't.

That happened over 15 years ago, and I still smile when I think about it.:D

I have 2 tattoos. I would recommend not getting one if you don't have one already. I got mine when I was in my 20's. I've just recently turned 40 and trust me, they aren't as cool now as they were then.

I hear what you are saying here but i would have the tat at the top of my shoulder and would not be seen in a shirt worn for pool, but i get your point.

I thank everyone for their warnings but i am 30 this month and am not a daft teenager rushing into it. I have been thinking of getting a tat for a few years but never saw the right design, and wont get one now unless i am totally happy with the design.

You guys sound like my mother!!!

Just kidding, i was looking for something quite simple maybe on my shoulder so it can easily be covered up and is not visible when clothed.

I figure if i amgoing to get a tattoo it should be themed on something i love and will never go off.

This may not make sense but when I put my cursor over the title of the thread from the main page, it only shows "Hey guys, i am thinking of getting a tattoo and what better theme to have than my bel..."

..... And I thought you were saying you wanted a tattoo put on your belly! That's the first word that came to mind that started with "bel..." since I read the sentence wrong anyway... I guess.

For what it's worth I got my first one at 27 and my second one at 30, I wasn't a daft teenager either. If I could turn back time I'd never walk in the tattoo parlor.

would still like to get some more done though, go figure

Ok so I am a lifer in pool, and ink, so whats the problem??? I think pool related tattoos are just lame, for the most part I have seen a few that I liked but there is something less acceptable about a pool tatoo than a tribal tat (Tribal tats are mainstream and pool because of the games public opinion about it make that image are more hardcore on pool realted tats, perhaps like a biker club tat -Hells Angles), or most other ones a Tazmanian Deval is the worst IMO, it is just a off the wall photo copy thats drawn on your skin forever-while your were too drunk to remember getting it..

Thanks, Fatboy. I guess the tattoo on my back is the ultra lame ass piece of ink. I have a Taz holding an 8-ball over his head. Thank God I wasn't drunk when I did it or you'd be getting the hat trick of insults.

not really offended, to each his own

What do you guys think of the new back piece I'm getting done soon

When you turn pro and get a nickname, then get a tatoo that revolves around pool, until then, bag the idea.

Hahahaha, that's how I feel about having your name on your golf bag...if you can't get in the 60's, just leave it at "Ping"......:)

It's funny that you have started this thread. I've been looking a long time for a classic pin-up girl that is posing perfect for a pool scene (like holding a cue or sitting on a pool table). I ended up going with a classic pin-up on my arm without the pool scene, but If I ever find her, there is plenty of room on the rest of my body.:D

Take a look at this one I found....
