Going to be going to Plano for the night on Tuesday and was wondering where to play on some decent tables or are there any tournaments on Tuesday?

Sorry to say, no Pool Halls in Plano. You will have to drop a little South into Richardson. Try the Billiard Den or Wizards.

For no particular reason I decided to google Plano.

From Wikipedia:

"The city's population was 259,841 at the 2010 census, making it the ninth-largest city in Texas"

No pool halls in a city with population of 260k? I live in a small country, our capital has ~400k people and has 10+ pool halls.

People in Plano - business idea for you :p

Also a former Click's on Marsh , never been there but might not be a bad drive . Not sure what you really want but i think there is a bowling alley called Plano Superbowl , something like that that has pool tables.

In the 70's they had a city ordinance against arcades , which would have eliminated most pool rooms . A few other towns followed in their footsteps.

If you are looking for action, come to Wizards in Richardson on Tuesday night, guaranteed action.

For minors??

OK, how about any pool halls in the Plano or North Dallas area where minors are allowed?? Seems most of the pool halls have gone to 21 and over. We're in the area today and tomorrow. My son is 11 but already playing pretty strong. Short video of him breaking: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-daKjOLm0Kg

Wizards will let him in till 8pm. I was in Wizards today for lunch. It was my first time there. Nice place. The cloth was warn, but the table I was on played well despite the warn cloth.

Awesome! Thanks, Larry,

Micah would break better on green cloth. Boy has some nice arm strength and coordination.

Ha ha! We just had it recovered with Simonis 860 a few months ago and I let Micah choose between green and tan. He stuck with tan so his shafts wouldn't get the familiar blue/green tint. He's picky about his cue......
