Any idea what type of Brunswick table this is?

This is the table I play on at my University. I was just curious what model Brunswick this is. If you look carefully, you can see these green foamy, spongy things on each corner. Thanks in advance, everyone

Early model Gold crown. Where there are those green things, originally they had a ash tray insert in there.

Table

It looks like a Gold Crown to me
The foam stuff is where ashtrays used to be. They were stick snaggers so a lot oif people replaced them with wood inserts. The foam is a good idea also.

Pic of the ashtray. University probably frowns on smoking!

Looks like an Brunswick AR-6100, also known the Gold Crown. I think generation 1&2 came with the ashtray corners as an option.

=) Thanks, everyone. I was thinking it was a Gold Crown, but the green things threw me off. I guess I should've done some research. They're nice tables, but the cloth definitely needs to be replaced.

Wow ! I had no idea they had ash treys built right into them lol. Different world different time!

GC2....GC1's had very thick pocket castings and didn't come with the ashtray option...until the thinner casting was available...which was one of the later changes the GC1's went through before they were the GC2's.

They forgot the drink holders!

We have those at Malarky's in Tacoma.Years ago someone moved all the ashtray corners to just a few of the tables so that many of them have no ashtrays.Even before the smoking ban here,to my knowledge, there was no smoking at the pool tables.Sometimes the ashtray will interfere with bridging a shot so you have to remove the ashtray and bridge over an open hole.
