99% of the time its people asking about a cue that was for sale when Bush was president. Shit gets old. Some old threads DO have current relevance i get it but most of the time its people who can't read the date on a cue sale ad and asks 'Is this cue still available?' on a post dated 2007. WTF.

Bobby played 1 handed and the other guy played regularly and I think they bet 100/ game 9b that escalated quickly to 500.
Turns out that guy could play and had gamble!

Bobby pickles crew came down to the Galveston world classic with the promise of a big payout. The amateur side didn’t fill out and the prize fund was much reduced. His team took it down but were disappointed with the meager monetary reward. Heard they were going to take tournament organizers to court. Not sure if that actually happened. I think I have that story right just word of mouth.

I'm usually pretty good on research with legal matters, but there's another "Bobby Pickle" who was charged with rape, and it's coming up on Google more so than Bobby Pickle the pool player. He also asked to be trasnferred from a California facility, which he did end up winning. He's now in Terra Haute, Indiana.
It is easy to make assumptions, I guess. It's like when a well-known snooker champoin like Ronnie O'Sullivan loses the first round of the UK Open. Online railbirds are saying he dumped, that there's no way a seven-time world snooker champion can lose first round, but he did.
Bobby Pickle is just trying to survive behind bars. I'm glad to read that he will be released in 2028. He will be 68 years old and hopefully have some life left to live. I wonder if he'll start playing pool again. I hope so.
