My friend sent me these pics of a joint pin and i tried to highlight the logo in the pin. Does anyone recognize the maker's mark?

is it a K & a J ???
there's a KJCues on this forum,
have no idea if kj marks his cues that way or not though

It looks to me like Chineese or some type of writing in another language.

Nope, that's not me.
I do a traditional KJ, gold-leaf in burl ring at the bottom of the butt-sleeve.

Dude, I would sell that cue and quickly it looks like the cue they found with the tapes in the foundation of the old house in the movie the Blair Witch!!!

I work with a lot of guys overseas. I checked with one of my colleagues in Hong Kong who is fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese and he doesn't recognize that symbol as anything in the Chinese "alphabet".

Japanese? Don't have any contacts over there.

What does the rest of the cue loook like there is a japaneese cue maker towards washington. he does a pilot like that with a big pin maybe he started using a logo.

Rapheal Martinez turned me on to him mostly makes sneaky pete's but he makes them with long skiny points.

That is not a character in any Korean, Chinese, or Japanese writing.

My guess, is it is a combinations of letters or a picture of something. Someone probably stared at Ernie's or Eric's logo for too long and decided they would try and out do them.

my friend sent the pics over to me. i'll see if i can get him to send over a pic of the whole cue. thanks.

Kinda reminds me a bit of this:

Maybe try retaking the picture without highlighting it yourself.

Almost close to a Lambros joint. Try ask Greg from Billiardwarehouse.com . Maybe he can help.
