Any score yet?

Ok back. I love pool but yknow I love hanging with my little guys more. :-) They are asleep now..

Not sure of the score...i think its a 4 game lead. Shane is breaking.
SMASH! Makes 2 balls and sticks whitey in the middle. GREAT break but the one falls in the side and he has no shot on the 2. Shane plays a great three rail safety. Corey is fully hooked with the cue ball near the bottom rail. Corey thin hits the 2 and the cueball slowly rolls behind the 10 hooking Shane. Shane makes the kick and leaves CD a difficult shot. CD slices the 2 in and also makes the 9. 6 balls left on the table and Duel cuts in the 3 and hooks himself on the 3 with the 5. Duel thinly hits the 4 and sells out. Run out looks easy from here.

Shane runs out and the score is now...Shane 20, Duel 15 with Shane breaking.

3.5 hrs in and 35 games in...

Shane breaks and makes 2 balls and scratches (?) sorry I walked out of the room for a moment and missed how CD got BIH. Duel makes his first shot and overshoots his position freezing up against the 10. CD kicks one rail at the three and scratches. Shane takes BIH and runs the remaining 6 balls.

Shane leads 21-15 and is breaking...

Corey is gonna have to play better if he hopes to get win this. He is overshooting his position alot and seems to not be as focused as Shane.

Shane breaks, makes 3 balls on the break and nearly scratches in the bttom right corner. He has a difficult cut shot on the one or a bank back towards the pocket the cueball rests near. The five is nearly hanging in the same pocket near the cue. Shane banks the one, clipping the 5 and making the 5 more difficult to pocket. Shane makes the 3 and 4 and plays a safety, driving the 5 out of the corner three rails and hooking CD with the 10. CD makes the kick and leaves Shane a long shot on the 5. Shane makes the 5 and then slices the 8 in the side and runs out.

Score is Shane 22/ Duel 15 with Shane breaking...

Shane breaks and a ball. No shot on the one and the 2/3/9 are also clustered up near the center of the top rail. Shane plays safe and leave Corey a good shot, which CD makes but has no shot on the 2. CD thins the 2, playing the cueball 3 rails back to the bottom right corner. Shane has a long tough shot on the two but it looks like he might scratch on the shot. He jacks up and hits a great shot, making the 2 and drawing the cue to just above the top right corner pocket and gets position on the 3. Shane runs out, making it look easy.

Shane 23, Duel 15.

Shane is 8 games ahead with just about half of this first day over. I'm thinking my first half bet with Jay is looking like i better start getting my checkbook out....

Wow this table is breaking good for Shane. 2 balls on the break and a good shot on the one. Balls are kinda tricky with some traffic issues as six balls are all around the rack area. Shane is playing position a bit loose...Billy and Grady are commenting on Shane playing for shots that are more difficult than if he got closer because his confidence is so high. He definitely looks like he is in the zone. Shane works his way through the rack and runs out.

Shane 24, Duel 15

Shane breaks, making a ball in the side. Its looking like Shane is making the the second ball in the right side every time. The balls are clustered with six of them along the side right rail. Shane cannot see the one. No where easy to push here since the 1 is in front of the side. Shane rolls out leaving Corey near straight in long and in the jaws of the bottom right corner. Duel plays a great safe leaving whitey behind the 10 and Shane snookered.2/7 are clustered. Shane makes a great hit going two rails and leaving CD hooked. CD softly kicks and leaves Shane a long cut on the one. Shane misses the one and gets safe. Grady comments that the balls seem to know who is winning. Duel has a difficult kick and kicks two rails and thinly hits the 1. Great shot and he gets some audience applause but he leaves and easy shot on the one. No real pocket for the 2 though and Shane freezes CD against the 7 and shoots the 2 down table. Corey kicks two rails and misses. Shane takes BIH and plays combination 2-8 and tries to rearrange the furniture on the right side of the table. He then plays the 2 in the same pocket as the 8 and then plays a combination 3-9. Looks easy from here now. Shane runs out.

Shane 25, Duel 15. 10 games ahead in just under 3 hrs.

Jay can i Buy out from here hahahah?

Ok Shane breaks and makes 2 balls again and he has a shot on the 1 but its not so easy. Shane hangs the one...WHAT he missed??? lol

Duel steps up, jacks up to draw the one and draws out, hitting his next ball (the 3) and getting hooked with the 10. He kicks long rail and nearly makes the 3 but hangs it up. This is practically like BIH for Shane. Grady comments again that the balls know who is winning. Shane runs out again.

Shane 26, Duel 15

At this point, it looks like the break is what is the big difference. That and Shane is alot more focused and has not been blowing position and getting hooked.

Shane breaks and makes a ball but is straight in on the one and froze on the end rail. He misses and leaves a very thin cut on the one. Duel misses the one and leaves a good look on the 1. Shane misses the 1 and leaves Duel an easy shot on the one. Duel runs out.

Duel 16 Shane 25

After this rack I am going to take a break for an hr or so. I have a local 1k added tournament i'm playing in tommorrow and I am going to play a few sets with the Ghost on my home table.

Duel breaks and makes 2 balls and has a good shot on the one. Balls are open with no real problems except maybe position from the 2 to the 3. Duel navigates that no problem but then gets out of line on the 4 and then banks the 4 in order to get position on the 6. Boy some tough shots here...Corey is making it look tough with straight in shots and cuts.

Duel 17, Shane 25

ok i'm off to try the 9ball ghost out a bit..ill check back in between some races to 5.

Corey breaks and drops a ball. Puts and one in the side, and draws back for an easy shot on the 3. Corey miscues and misses 3, but leaves no shot on it for SVB. SVB misses also, leaving Corey another tough shot. Corey plays safe but leaves a shot for SVB, who makes the shot. Shane now has a tough 8-9-10 cluster near the right side pocket. He plays 8-9 combo and the 9 follows it in. 10 in the corner.

26-17 SVB
