any up and comming cue makers

cue maker

Leon Sly.... His cues are great. He is well know in his area but needs to be know nation wide.

Clint Putman out of Huntsville Alabama. I have two of his cues--very nice hitting, nice workmanship, nice woods used. His cues come up from time to time on eBay and sell for a song.

Definitely Chad @ CAM Cues. One of the best. He is listed in the members section as CAMCUES.

Brent Hartman!!!!!! BHQ cues... great stuff!!!!! Awsome guy to deal with........Backs up his word....... Great affordable prices for the budget pool player!

Eric Crisp Sugartree Cues

Sugartree cues are very well constructed and Eric is a true artisan...I do not think he is underappreciated but you really never see his cues on the secondary market; which says a lot. So I think most are unaware of his presence and workmanship.

And a wonderful person to talk to...some of the best shaft wood in the world!

Butterflycues

Pat Diveney!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Without question deserves more airplay. Great person, very talented, and fantastic cues.

Hanky

JW Petree and Joe Callaluca, for sure.

I've had a cue and some work done by JWP...and it was incredible!! (and very, very affordable)

I've owned 2 J. Callaluca cues...and his work ranks up there with the best of 'em. Can't wait to get the custom order I placed with him sometime this fall!

I have a purpleheart & birdseye maple cue
that I bought new from him for $200.
Too stiff for me but really a pretty cue.
Both the purpleheart & the be maple are as
nice woods as I've seen.

Camcues

Here is a guy that some of the other cuemakers with customer service issues could learn a thing or two from. I just got my first cue from him and am very impressed with the build and finish quality of the cue. He needed an extra day to make the joint protectors. He called me on the way to the hospital while his wife was giving birth to make sure that it was going to be ok. Now that is a guy that is dedicated to customer satisfaction. Just can't say enough good about this guy. Thank You.
A Super Cue at Twice the price.

One of the great masters who has helped out many up and coming as well as established cuemakers is Paul Dayton. He should be rediscovered for his craftsmanship, great prices, and mastery of a cue that you can actually play with. www.daytoncues.com
