One of the great masters who has helped out many up and coming as well as established cuemakers is Paul Dayton. He should be rediscovered for his craftsmanship, great prices, and mastery of a cue that you can actually play with. www.daytoncues.com

Well put. Definitely one of the elite cuemakers and a great guy. Will never part with my Dayton!!

I recieved my first Dayton a few weeks ago, a simple Bacote sneaky. It has quickly become my favorite playing cue. Last time i looked only $275 on his website, an exceptional value!!!

Here is a guy that some of the other cuemakers with customer service issues could learn a thing or two from. I just got my first cue from him and am very impressed with the build and finish quality of the cue. He needed an extra day to make the joint protectors. He called me on the way to the hospital while his wife was giving birth to make sure that it was going to be ok. Now that is a guy that is dedicated to customer satisfaction. Just can't say enough good about this guy. Thank You.
A Super Cue at Twice the price.

DID SHE HAVE THE BABY !! ?? THAT BASTARD DIDN'T EVEN CALL ME!!

Very interesting web page. Especially the part where they describe him doing his first inlays in the 1960's with a dremel tool. He does look intriguing, but someone should mention him going over his page a little more closely.

Don't mean to hijack the thread... but I just called him, and she did have it. 8+ pounds, Tuesday, and it had to come out C-style after 20 hours of labor. POOR GIRL!

CONGRATS CHAD !!

Was it a boy or a girl?

Boy... he didn't have time to talk to me when I called... I'm sure he will let us know the name and all once he gets his hands on a computer again.

Joey Bautista & JW Petree

Also Ned Morris, Brian Mordt, & Rick Howard... (These guys already have a name for themselves but they do make great playing cues)

even though he's not a beginner, i wish Mike Webb's cues were spread more around the country.

he would have a much bigger following if more players could have them in their hands.

if you ever seen one, buy it or try it. you'll love em.

Hi i was wondering if there were any lesser known cuemakers that someone on the forum thought could use some recognition.

Wayne Robinson cues. I'm currently representing his cues. I play with one and have one for sale on here. Any custom orders can be made through me.

Thanks,
Josh Hillard

Sugartree cues are very well constructed and Eric is a true artisan...I do not think he is underappreciated but you really never see his cues on the secondary market; which says a lot. So I think most are unaware of his presence and workmanship.

And a wonderful person to talk to...some of the best shaft wood in the world!

Read the other day he is considering stopping any new orders, so going to be hard to get one of his cues I think.

Kent Davis of San Dimas, CA. Plays at a level to know what a good cue should play like, has a vast working knowledge of woods, a keen eye for detail and the gift to execute his designs with precision. Uncompromising quality of build. His stockpile of exotic woods and burls would make many cue makers green with envy.

Joey Bautista! See Cue Gallery. I have one of his recent cues and was over to his shop the other day and the woods he has are remarkable. He spent some time with Bandido and has Bandido's latest piece of equipment. Wait until you see what he has a yr. from now. He is meticulous in everything he does and it shows in his cues. I'm ready to place another order!
