Is Stevie Moore still in and how is the doing?!
Stevie started out today like he did yesterday... lost his 1st two matches. I'm hoping that he'll repeat yesterday and win the rest to advance. He's got a tough field but if there's anyone I know that can pull it off, it's Stevie! ;)

I'm sorry because I know someplace this was discussed. Cory has a lower % winning than Boys yet boyes 3 5's and cory 3 8's. If cory does a 5 and Boyes an 8 on their last games played, does this mean boyes goes on and cory does not?

But it looks like to advance, Ronnie needs to beat Deuel while Bustamante loses both his matches. I figure this is about a 1-in-15 shot. In round robins the tie-breaker is huge and Ronnie only has a 50% winning ratio. He's too far behind the other players' percentages to pass anyone.
Boyes beats Bustamante. Now Ronnie needs a win against Deuel while Busta loses against Hann. A three-way tie at 1-3 is possible in that group if Hann and Deuel win, which would put Busta through on winning percentage.

I believe wins within the round is the first criterion, then overall win % to break ties between wins within the round. Corey's 3 wins should put him through, and Boyes is likely out.

Looks like the Strickland-Hundal match is for survival through to the next round, unless Lohtander loses to Abood.

Right, looks like if O'Sullivan beats Deuel Busta has to beat Hann to make it through.

Archer lost to Putnik, and will be out unless Peach and Orcullo both lose their last two matches. Tough round!

Ah Feijen beats Appleton 8-5. Bad news there. Appleton may have to beat Martinez last match to make it - a tough ask. ...
It looks like Appleton will go through on percentage regardless of the last two matches in the bracket. Steve Moore would have to beat Martinez like a rented mule (10-0) to advance.

Doesn't matter. Putnik and Fu have two wins, and Peach and Orcullo have one win each but they have yet to play each other (or they already have, but score wasn't posted yet). Archer is out no matter what.

Archer played very well the past two days. Unlucky he had such a tough group today, but that's how it goes.

Ah, right, math gets in the way. Definitely too bad for Archer, but these matches are tough! Wish I was there.

UGH, that's right... I forgot they only play 4 matches today! I'm not giving up hope.... Stevie can dig down deep when he needs to. The odds are against him but I'm not giving up. ;)

Orcollo beat Peach 8-7 with a pretty lucky runout. That group is very close...if Peach beats Fu he might still get in...and maybe Fu could miss out...pretty complex group.

Also, Busta will probably be out (cause Boyes beat him) if he loses his next to Hann.

Just spent some time with Quinten working on his break and he made a ball about 8 times in a row in practice after that. Tried hitting the CB a little lower and slowing down the backswing.

Anyway, this last round of round 3 will have some thrillers.

Well, OK, but if his match really does go to 10-0 I think there will be another call to Deno.

LOL, yeah...to keep Martinez from beating Stevie up :D

This tournament is nerve racking - a lot of the groups are so tight that it really comes down to the last match AND each game. Archer is out. Bustmante is close to being out. Efren - unreal, Manalo, Martinez, Hill??? Who is Michael Hill??? The guy keeps on winning.

This has got to be the most exhausting tournament in history. I am worn out just keeping up with the stats.

Kevin, I will PAY to watch this event online. Here is an idea. Webcams for every table. Flat fee to access per day or for the whole event. The onine viewer can switch cams at will to watch the table they want to. Be the first to offer this and you will revolutionize pool viewing for sure.

YAAAY!!!

Alex beat Alex Lely, so now even if Alex loses his next match, he will be tied with Kucharo and his percentage is so much higher that he will advance along with Alex Lely and Santos. I'm crossing my fingers that the score is correct, if so, then yes he should make it to the next round.

He was in a must win situation too, and Alex Lely was unbeaten in that group so yes...I was sweating bullets!!!
