This tournament is nerve racking - a lot of the groups are so tight that it really comes down to the last match AND each game. Archer is out. Bustmante is close to being out. Efren - unreal, Manalo, Martinez, Hill??? Who is Michael Hill??? The guy keeps on winning.

This has got to be the most exhausting tournament in history. I am worn out just keeping up with the stats.

Kevin, I will PAY to watch this event online. Here is an idea. Webcams for every table. Flat fee to access per day or for the whole event. The onine viewer can switch cams at will to watch the table they want to. Be the first to offer this and you will revolutionize pool viewing for sure.

John

The longer this tourney goes, I cant imagine what the players are feeling. I keep updating nonstop to view results as they come in. The winner of this event will definately earn it, theres no denying that fact.

Live Internet/TV feeds would make this absolutely incredible.

BTW,

try looking at group 70.....wow talk about pressure, the last two matches are must win situations for all four players!!!! Charlie Williams vs. Gabe Owen and Ronnie Alcano vs. Sarah Ellerby and ALL of them have only ONE win. Manalo is thru that group with 4 wins.

YAAAY!!!

Alex beat Alex Lely, so now even if Alex loses his next match, he will be tied with Kucharo and his percentage is so much higher that he will advance along with Alex Lely and Santos. I'm crossing my fingers that the score is correct, if so, then yes he should make it to the next round.

He was in a must win situation too, and Alex Lely was unbeaten in that group so yes...I was sweating bullets!!!
LOL, I don't miss those sweating bullet days! They added grey hairs to my head and I have enough as it is! Alex P is so entertaining, it's very hard to not like him and not root for him. You're not alone in sweating this... I know a lot of us would like to see him advance. ;) Good luck Alex!

He could TOTALLY make money off of this. IMO, he could make more off of this than off of the DVD's. Some people will still buy the DVD's but not as many as they would like simply because of the price of them. This site crashed the 1st night and was really slow up until today... I wonder if it was all the traffic? I know I would pay to get streaming video and I'm sure Phoebe would be glued to her computer too if she were given the opportunity to watch online.

I don't know a whole lot about this stuff but I would think that it could be done on a pretty small budget couldn't it? Just guessing, I would say that he should easily be able to make more than he spent on a venture like this...

It's like six back-to-back tournaments. Here are the players who are advancing before the final set of matches today. I won't name those who will not advance. "Sole in group" means the other two spots are totally up for grabs. (I hope I did the math right.)

Dee Adkins -- sole in group
Efren Reyes
Earl Strickland
Corey Deuel
Quinten Hann
Ivica Putnik
Dennis Orcollo
Antonio Lining
Mika Immonen
Sandor Tot
Ralf Souquet
Shawn Putnam
Rodney Morris -- sole in group
Rafael Martinez
Darren Appleton
Santos Sambajon
Alex Lely
Alex Pagulayan
Marlon Manalo -- sole in group
Michael Hill
Thorsten Hohmann
Evgeny Stalev
Marcus Chamat
Nick van den Berg

If Stevie wins and Niels loses he has a chance!
In fact, I think Stevie is guaranteed to advance, since he will have picked up some winning percentage on Niels, and would be tied on matches. That scenario would put Martinez, Appleton and Moore through, with Feijen eliminated by W%.

Ok all you Stevie fans... put your rally caps on!

Ipt Website Membership

Guys....hold your horses! It's on the way! During the players meeting KT spread the news about the upcoming availability of a "members only" section of the website that will *I believe* do exactly what you are asking. Not only will you be able to choose matches to view live, but also re-run them, view DVD's (both Match play and Instructional) among other things! It really does look to do everything you could need. I'm REALLY excited about it, although I hope to be at each to view them LIVE!

The memberships will be (don't quote me) around $25 one time fee and $5.99 per month. They are looking to start the service at the first of November.

Sit tight and hopefully you'll get your wish. Even being there in person is way, way tough because in any particular round their may be 10 matches that are really GREAT ones that you want to sweat and you are forced to choose. Truly an incredible event!

Just don't forget to use my name for a referal when you sign up!!!! :D

Busta shows up his big gun..hitting Hann with dominant score of 8-1..and 6 B&R has a lot to do with it. And looks like Ronnie O..is going to be out..since he lost to both Busta and Quinten Hann...and even if he wins with Duel? or if he loses then clearly he's out..

His W% is too low at only 50.0. He has no hope to catch Hann at 55.6% even if he wins big.

Niels is in, with 3 wins...Steve Moore is out. Darren Appleton advances over Moore by the slim margin of 1.05%.

Mic Hill is one of the top 8 ball players in Britian. His normal sport is 8 ball English Pool. Like American 8 ball but smaller and slightly different rules.

Michael Hill has the 5th highest winning percentage of all players in the tourney at 64.29%. He's obviously playing some great pool and his experience in the UK has carried over here to the USA.He's in some great company:

Marlon MANALO- 68.97%
Francisco BUSTAMANTE -67.35%
Efren REYES- 67.32%
Ralf SOUQUET-66.67%
Antonio LINING-64.74%
Michael HILL- 64.29%
Jason KIRKWOOD-62.34%
Alex PAGULAYAN-61.74%
Nick VAN DEN BERG- 61.94%
Rafael MARTINEZ-60.87%

He's in a really tough group tommorow, so lets see how he does:
Group 74
Efren REYES
Michael HILL
Francisco BUSTAMANTE
Gabe OWEN
Ivica PUTNIK
Santos SAMBAJON
