This would certainly be fun for me and the others to participate in, but wouldn't you rather watch top play from pro players? There is so much great pro match content available to watch online, why would you interested in watching stuff of lesser quality?

Im re-stating the obvious for those who can’t read between the lines.
Because people either want to see you back up what you teach or fail at it miserably. Either way it’s entertainment. Unfortunately too often it’s based in low personal self esteem or denial and is more of an attack.

For those of us who understand that it’s an entirely different skill set to teach and communicate fundamental ideas, it’s still the same lol, ( good entertainment ). Albeit all that with less malice behind it than most hecklers I’d bet.
Also there's just that small thing of creating QUALITY video and written content. Not to mention all the hours editing that goes with it.

Some folks just like to see the world burn for the sake of a good bonfire.

I think I’m in the majority when I say thanks so much for making easy to watch and thorough instruction videos that obviously require a ton of experience and testing. I hope you’re getting properly compensated for your time and effort.
Not kissing ass here and I get most of this has been said already. I just think it’s important to show appreciation of effort

How hard do you think he can break?

His 10 ball break is comfortably right around 23mph. You can tell he's not even close to his maximum capability, so I wouldn't bet against him being able to hit 30.

Incessantly pestering a middling player with unwarranted advice, even going so far as to secretly videotape them seems like a pretty clear boundary issue for the latter two, and a flagrant violation for the former. Nevertheless, I'm really not interested in furthering a conversation with those so socially maladjusted that they just can't fathom why a guy at a pool hall would have a problem with that. BTW, you cannot walk or drive in any major city, nor walk into any building nowadays, (or attend a Coldplay concert), without being on camera and videotaped. Obviously, you live under a rock. In addition, the advice I gave him was warranted, asked for, and appreciated, dufus. Lastly, saying any of it would warrant a visit to the parking lot, as you suggested, is the very definition of being "maladjusted."

Seconded. GoPros are your friend. We used them extensively with my college bowling team, and i've used them for most of my other sports as well.

What it *feels* like you're doing and what you're *actually* doing can be VERY different.

Dude, I know the guy -- I see him all the time, he brings me bags of fresh shrimp after visiting his brother in the Gulf who owns a shrimp boat, I let him into the PR early so he can practice before going to work, and he knows I'm trying to help him.

He just can't incorporate what I've showed him. The only thing "creepy" in this exchange is you saying this is worth a trip to the parking lot. That's messed up.

While I’d think I’d still have some questions for a good buddy videotaping me sans my knowledge or consent, I probably wouldn’t escalate it nearly to the same degree as I would if it were someone I was less familiar with.
