would you care to share your opinion with regards to which active cue maker delivers the top bang (value) for a buck
I dont check prices if I'm not buying, for the most part.

I'm currently playing with a Mobley and a Showman - neither fall into the "value" category.

EDC makes a good cue with a lot of talent showing him the way(Mobley, Showman, and a few others have helped with discussions on Cue building. I'd say he has the most well known and arguably the best builders behind him.

Shelby makes a great looking cue but I have no idea on price or hit.

I'm pretty content playing with my Mobley daily and I don't see that changing anytime soon, quite possibly my favorite cue of all time.

My 2nd Mobley just stays in the case for the most part and I take the Showman out when I want to play with a perfect SS Joint cue - the sound and feel are perfection!

To be honest, with what I payed for the Mobley plus having him refinish and rewrap and 6 shafts, the Mobley is probably the best bang for the buck cue I have, it was also built for Earl 2021 Mosconi Cup Strickland, so Fck yeah!!! 🤣

I don't have a dog in this hunt but after reading the posts I wondered what Mr Searing does for a living? I don't mean this in a sarcastic manner in any way but wondered if he has a full time job and builds part-time? Thanks

Apparently he has thriving Cue repair - retapping business, and people standing in a line to get one of his Cues.

You certainly think about him too much if you don't want to marry him you wanker
Never thought about him at all.Just read this post and wondered about a cue maker I knew nothing about(other than having heard the name). Apologies for the angry reply but I just didn't know if he was full time or had another profession. I had to look up wanker. Not applicable in this case. BTW,I deleted my name calling spasm, you little wanker. :) :)

Best is like Hot, Spicy, or Great it is not measurable with anything but people opinions.

Doctors are famous for saying I need you to see specialist, their referral is always best guy.

Never had one say sending you to my good golf buddy, my nephew who is married to my niece, or old fried from medical school who is ok, but he is good friends. Plus he is married to my sister.
