Anybody excitied about Turning Stone Classic? It's in 2 days with free live stream.

Mika looked pretty good in winning the Mezz Tour stop. I think Shane will win but could be supplanted by Mike D., Jayson S., Thorsten, Mika or Dennis O.

I'll make Saturday and Sunday If I'm winning on the blackjack tables. It's a great event for sure. Anybody within 4 hours drive should give it a look, free admission and a nice casino with great restaurants and clubs.

Anyone have any idea why 2strong4U (the OP) got banned?

I think Oscar has a shot at it.

Oscar has been tearing it up on the Mezz tour. This last event Mika played pretty damn well too.

My picks for this are Shane, Oscar or Mika.

Robocop is about due to win another, as is SVB. On paper there are at least 12 players that can take it down. Johnnyt

I was hoping you'd say there was only 4 or 5 people that stood a chance again this year and everyone else was dead money:eek::eek::eek::thumbup::thumbup::D:D:smile::cool::cool::rotflmao:

Here's an update of information I have posted in the past.

The 23 Turning Stone events have been won by 15 different players. Bustamante, Van Boening, and Shaw have each won twice, and Archer has won 6 times.

The 23 events have seen 18 different players finish second. Hatch, Sossei, Immonen, Morris, and Morra have each been runners-up twice.

Based on the current players list for T.S. XXIV, 9 of the past winners (who have accounted for 16 of the 23 wins) and 7 of the past runners-up (who have accounted for 12 second-place finishes) will be playing this week.

Heading out for a couple of days

A full field with this much talent and some rainy weather in NYC made this road trip easy call. Looking forward to seeing all the other guys mentioned but it will be my first time seeing the young gun Skylard Woodward. SVB might be the favorite but I can't see this being a walk in the park. Alot of seasoned players that will be giving him a run for his money (D. Orcullo, T. Hohmann, M. Immonen, J. Shaw, J Morra etc...).

Looking forward to this . Anyone know start time ?

Thorsten and Mika have to do well as they are just outside top 24 ranking automatic qualification for next months W9B

Average Fargo rating of top 16 players is about 780 and that is strong
Plus it will not be on baby tables

Steinway?

I thought they were his sponsor. They stopped their affiliation with Earl?

Can't argue that Earl has been an embarrassment just about everywhere he goes. The last straw was his final match during the World straight pool championships. Why would any sponsor want to be associated with that kind of disruptive, unprofessional and disrespectful behavior?
