Jayson is a great pick, but i think that SVB will take it. especially just after snapping off the Masters Tourney !!

Should be another great FREE live stream by UpState Al of AZBtv !!!

Thorsten is in good form. I'm looking for a big tournament from him.
But it's opponent rack and Thorsten admittedly has trouble with the head games some players might try.

Shaw and Shane seem to rise above that added stress.

Dennis Orcollo might make a statement.

Huge excitement and anticipation, I'll be there every day.

Rarely missed when lived in Clifton Park NY area. Great setting at the Casino. Very nice part of Country and people.

I'll make Saturday and Sunday If I'm winning on the blackjack tables. It's a great event for sure. Anybody within 4 hours drive should give it a look, free admission and a nice casino with great restaurants and clubs.

In the last couple events, Zuglan allowed rack-your-own if both players agreed. Perhaps we'll see that again.

Free stream is always exciting! Seriously, this is becoming one of the better traditional tournaments even though it is difficult for the players to make is finanacially viable.

Traditional being 9' tables, winner break.

Not financially viable? What are the payouts? Don't see many tournaments with a full 128 person field much anymore.

Was looking on the list for Earl and Rodney............

No knock on the tournament but it's up by Syracuse, which is pretty isolated and you pretty much need to stay at Turning Stone, which is not cheap.

There was a thread a year or two ago about the costs. It's pretty expensive for the pros. Probably a minimum $1400 travel including a shared room and car, entry and 1 average cost air ticket, some meals. That would be an 8th place of better finish to break even.

Here was a payout list from the last one:

Thanks for the info, Tate.............

The return on investment of 200 bucks is pretty good. Fantastic venue, perfect brand new equipment and Zuglan's has the best run events in pool.

For regional players who are tour members it's 150 entry. Plus there's a 500 second chance event Sunday for 60 bucks entry.

Terrific venue for spectators. You can get cheap hotels within 15 minutes...the casino rooms are pricy.

Hope everyone supports the tournament. It's gonna have its share of upsets, with top tier guys battling to the finish.

My theory is to exclude those who were "Flavor of month" this year . That excludes Jayson, Darren, Thorsten , Bergman, Shane
Also exclude the 7ft guys like Sky and MC bag carriers like Oscar

That leaves Dennis, Mika, Morra,Corey, Hatch as potential winners :grin-square:
BTW where is that ubiquitous old beast Kiamco

Agreed, I like Gomez's game a lot

Sorry Gomez has poor mental game . Will take Ignacio or Johann Chua over him

Robocop is about due to win another, as is SVB. On paper there are at least 12 players that can take it down. Johnnyt
