Does it get busy? Full house?55 tables. Deteriorating facility. Friendly atmosphere during league play weeknights. All diamonds. Cheap booze and hot dogs. 50cent 7' tables, $2.5/hr 9'. Haven't seen a whole lot of gambling going on latey.
The pool hall's full name is Antique Billiard Museum and for good reason: they have all kinds of antique tables (along with antique memorabilia everywhere) including what I thought was a Kling; and there was one 9' Brunswick by the entrance, I don't know if there were more scattered elsewhere. They have at least one 9' Blue Label Diamond and a few 9' Red Label Diamonds, as well as many Diamond bar boxes. The last time I was in there some of the tables were covered in plastic, and buckets were placed on the tables to catch the water dripping from the ceiling. Other tables, including the Brunswick by the entrance had puddle stains on the cloth. I heard the owner just got $5 million from the insurance company to fix the roof.55 tables. I saw what looked like three Klings, some antique with Queen Anne legs, a Centennial or Anniversary and a 3 cushion table, in addition to the many Diamonds. Thanks 7 ,minus the buckets, that is the way she described it.
Weeknights it's packed with league.Does it get busy? Full house?
Pros? There's 4 "americans" counting fedor in the USA with 800 and over fargo rates.7 ft tables should be right where they belong in a barroom. They have no place in pool and it must be insulting for pros to play on them.
I am blessed to live in NC and do not know of any 7ft tables in any pool room here.
If I had a choice between not playing or playing on 7 ft tables, I’d take up gardening.
Funny they all stay open here with 9 foot tables. The leagues here like them as well as the owners.Pros? There's 4 "americans" counting fedor in the USA with 800 and over fargo rates.
Who are all the pros being insulted at that pool room?
League keeps damn near every pool room open in America.
The reason pros play on them is there is A LOT OF MONEY to be won on them. Not insulting in any way. Millions of people play on them every day/week and love them. Don't like 'em go dig in your garden. If it wasn't for bb's pool in this country would be dead and buried.7 ft tables should be right where they belong in a barroom. Okee dokee. I don’t like them and as I said earlier count myself lucky to live in NC. Never heard anyone here say I wish we’d get rid of these 9 ft tables and replace them with barboxes. The reason pros play on them is there is A LOT OF MONEY to be won on them.
