Anybody play any Pool 300 at the SBE?

Every time you rack, even for the extra shot(s) when you make a spare or strike, you still advance the head ball by one number...the others being racked in numerical order after the 10.

Now I'm confused Scott. I'm talking about at the end of each frame when you have to play one extra inning to settle a spare, or two if you got a strike previously. It's not a new frame it's just the end of the last one for which you are racking again. When you play the 3rd inning of the first frame you will rack the three ball in the front. If you now get a spare or a strike you will rack again but you are still in the first frame. How is the sequence on this one or two bonus racks you play to settle the score of the frame? It sounds like sstz28 may be correct to just continue racking the three ball in front until the start of the second frame at which time you will start with the four ball, etc.

Tony in MD. That was me running the game and I never told you you had to hit the lowest number first. I specifically tell everyone there are no Bad Hits in Pool300. I also point out to most players when the situation arises tht you can play the combo.
I have done hundreds of challenges and no one has ever misunderstood that before. Sorry it happened to you.

Sorry to correct you Scott, but the 3rd inning is like the 10th and you get bonus for strikes and spares but the 3 is still in front for all of them, even if you have 3 strikes in the 3rd frame.

Ok this just in from Scott Willoughby @ pool 300 central.

No called shots and no bad hits.

Scratch on break does not end your inning, you can continue after spotting balls made in the order of smallest to largest.

Racking bonus innings continue with the same rack sequence as the third inning of the frame until that frame is done.

All additional balls pocketed on a legal shot stay down and are scored.

Here are the official rules as of April 2012: View attachment Official POOL-300 Rules April 2012.doc

Not a problem.

I do not know who this Scott Lee is but apparently he does not know the rules to pool300 and I have already ran one session of pool300 this past winter in Jacksonville, FL. I do know all of the rules to the game so if anyone has any more questions about the rules I'll be more than happy to explain them over the phone. Bobby Garza 904-759-8421
If you watch the videos on www.pool300.com you see that Dennis Hatch runs a perfect round in this game.
