Anyone else stuck working New Years Eve..

If that ain't bad enough... I have to get up in the Morning and work New Years Day...
I guess being stuck in a poolroom isn't the worst, but drunk poolplayers are only a little worse then sober pool players..

Think about all the Troops, Policmen, Firemen, Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics, etc., whom will be working tonite, tomorrow and all those Holidays we enjoy....
 
Ken this might be a good time to fleece a few sheep after midnight or get fleeced if you helpem drink a dozen or so shots. Happy New Year and find a hot woman to bring in the new one with, it will make you feel good about working. LOL--Leonard

I'm not working but had oral surgery yesterday. The left side of my face is extremely swollen, the pain meds make me feel crappy, and no alcohol since I am on antibiotics! :frown:

Oh well, thanks to those who are serving our country and can't be home and happy New Year to all of you.

I agree with you they are also right up along side Drunk poolers, lets give a shout out to them.:)

I had a tooth yanked out last month so I feel your pain. The dentist said he normally sends ppl to an oral surgeon for what he had to do (the tooth was completely broken off so he had to split the roots and pry em out one by one...one of em had an end like a fish hook too), but since I don't get nervous he would just do it there.

He started at 830am and finished at 930am, but the novacaine didn't wear off till 9pm.
 
yea, I worked yesterday, the Holidays for a plumber are always crazy. I can't complain, I own the biz, and things are good for us in a tough economy.

I have also worked in pool rooms on the holidays....sometimes it was fun as hell! :)

Being retired from the Fire service, I can tell you that working the holidays is
something that just comes with the territory. Christmas was always the one that you would like to be off with your family. But you adjust accordingly.
