Anyone ever done deal with jor23_lin ?

no problems with jor. i bought a custom case from him back in august and the deal went perfect. the design matched what we drew up perfectly and everything was done quickly. i paid the full amount before the case was started and got the case within 2 and a half weeks. considering the amount of highly detailed work on it, it was a very quick turnaround.

DUDE, paypal is one of the easiest ways to get screwed....DO a little reasearch on it and you will find that is next to impossible to get your money back.....2 many people have been burned by paypal..
 
No Worries Dealing With Jor..... I Would Accept Whatever Payment Method Was Easiest For Him.

On A Side Note About International Payments.......

A Wire Transfer Or Western Union Are The Only Way I Would Take Payment. Even Though You Give Your Info For Them To Send Payment, They Can't Do A Withdrawl Without Your Consent. Western Union Makes People Feel Better Because There Is No Info Exchanged, But They Are Both Very Safe.
 
Wire-transfer

1. Safe for both parties.
2. Make sure the sender pay extra $20 to cover receiving end bank's commission.
3. Fastest is 24-hours, slowest is three working days.
4. Make sure you shipped your cue with tracking number.
5. Make sure you have the buyer phone number on the parcel too.

Western Union

1. Senders worst night-mare of sending money to someone unknown. :D

I believe the bank wire transfer is the safest way for the seller side (not money order, casher's check but cash directly into your account).
I just want to finish the deal and have the cue in my hand asap as the old credit card i am using with paypal is overdue and i have to add another new card and wait for the confirmation things....etc. That's the story.
Since i am not protected by this way of payment, i have the same question here.:tongue:
Is there anyone who can vouch for Mark(oneshotwiss)?

I'll vouch for oneshotwiss. The transaction I had with him was excellent. The communication, fast payment, and overall experience all top-notch.
 
Finally i sent the payment from my paypal account and the money now is in mark's paypal account.... But he just told me he has to wait the payment into his bank account then he will ship the cue out.

I can understand what he is afraid of but the thing he is doing just waste of my time, I still can withdrawal deal from his paypal account (even the money is in his bank account) if he can't proof the shippment based on paypal's policy.

But the point is "Is this the usual way how the deal goes?" sounds a little strange to me? Should i hold the payment till he provide me the shipping detail?

No probably what you should do is handle the situation through pm's. The cue is shipped!! I even spent $50 above what he paid me for shipping so that he would have it in his hands on Monday! For everyone else, ask anyone I've ever dealt with how it went or check my itrader...and for what is worth, I think anyone who would send a $2600 cue out of the country before the transfer of funds from your Paypal account actually into your bank account completes is out of their freakin mind. I wont do it and I even told Jor that right up front so it wasnt like I tried to change my policy

I would not accept Paypal from my mother! You have absolutely NO guaranty you will get a cent or be able to keep what you do get.
