You are too young to want to play 1hole. That game drive me bananas!! I cant stand chess either, but I do like 14.1 for some godforsaken reason. Although I do get ahead of myself and break out too soon.

In my case you can check my profile and find my email address. Point being, when you post a challenge here, in the dark, as you have done it has to be taken with a grain of salt. IE, talk's cheap. I believe what they are interested in is, who are you? Where are you? Who is your guy? What game? Will you honestly travel to play? How much woud you like to bet?

Again, GURU, this is nothing personal, just what is usually expected if you actually intend to make a challenge. Openness and honesty.

Couldn't agree more. You see, people who earned big money don't throw it away. Only those who inherited it do...and they have to be gambling addicted.

Antonio (Aguzatate) Montalvo and "Little Miami" were two different players. Both played phenomenal 1handed pool. Miami personally told me he thought he could beat anybody alive playing 9 ball or rotation EXCEPT Aguzatate. There was another great Puerto Rican 1 handed player whom I did not know, but only heard of. His name was Chico from Puerto Rico. He was in Miami when I was there in the 60s but I never met him. He was rated as the best bumper pool player in the world. Anybody know anything about him?

According to Norm 'The Farmer' Webber, Chico 'robbed' Ronnie playing one-handed back in the glory days of the CA pool scene. Norm was there from the latter 50's to the early 60's.

Ronnie's game of course would have still been rising at that point.

That was Isaac "Miami" Gonzales. Artie only played the top one handed players Eight Ball. He was undefeated.

the Beard

Miami has to be in his late 70's, early 80's. I know him very well and he taught my late uncle while he owned a room in Paterson, NJ. Miami's one pocket game was phenomenal. I watched him play one handed jacked up one hole on a triple shim 5*10 antique they had in Paterson.

what u think of that puertorican guy who has been living around Detroit who once had a pool room in New Jersey before he moved to Michiagan?He is a well known one handed guy.how do you think he will do with artie? Dang I am old and can`t recall that guts name.
