Yes, I am interested to play yore horse one pocket game, one hand jacked up but with a 5 second shot clock .I can`t wait to ride yore horse.:cool:

I wish Weldon were still playing. You could have busted me with that action a few years ago.
 
Mike Massey won't gamble but he would have been my pick against anyone playing nine ball that way 20 years ago. He probably still could beat just about anyone that way.

Actually, Artie, beat Mike pretty handily playing that way, cueman.
 
I saw Efren play Ronnie Allen about 18-20 years ago one handed in the air. They played 15 ball rotation for 1,300.00 per game. Efren actually broke one handed in the air and ran out thru the 11 ball to win the game. I wondered why I even played the game!

what u think of that puertorican guy who has been living around Detroit who once had a pool room in New Jersey before he moved to Michiagan?He is a well known one handed guy.how do you think he will do with artie? Dang I am old and can`t recall that guts name.

Don't know if I'm talking about the same person, but back in the late sixtys, there was a latin, probably a Puerto Rican that played some unbelieveable one-handed pool in either Ames or 7-11 in New York.
Don't remember his real name, or it's correct spelling, but it was pronounced "A-Goose-A-Tay". Same person?

Nothing personal whatsoever about this, GURU but if you check my, or many others, info under their avatar you will see exactly where they are from. In my case you can check my profile and find my email address. Point being, when you post a challenge here, in the dark, as you have done it has to be taken with a grain of salt. IE, talk's cheap. I believe what they are interested in is, who are you? Where are you? Who is your guy? What game? Will you honestly travel to play? How much woud you like to bet?

Again, GURU, this is nothing personal, just what is usually expected if you actually intend to make a challenge. Openness and honesty.

Why can't you say the name? The person I might call could actually be who you're baking.

In the mean while, bring your boy down to Hollywood Billiards (Hollywood, Florida) and I'm sure he can match up playing some one handed with a few guys who will play with both hands but offer a small spot.
 
Was Ronnie the best 1-handed-jacked up player in his prime? Because I heard that in the mid 70's to mid-80's, there was this young guy from Mexico that was the best ever. Supposedly Ronnie was afraid to play him anything 1-handed, except 1 pocket. If the Mexican guy was allowed to play 1handed, but have the cue rest on the table, the guy played just as good as he did with both hands, which was somewhere around pro level. My friend who told me this doesn't lie or exaggerate, so I would have to believe him. Can anyone name a Mexican champion that played/plays great 1handed? Nobody knew the guy's name that I'm talking about.
