Anyone going to CueSports International (CSI) National Championship Series (NCS) 8-Ball Championship at the Golden Nugget, Las Vegas February 13-15, 2009?

I am making plans on being there. Hopefully I can meet some of the other AZB members while I am there.

Side note, I would love to meet Fatboy there and maybe my son and I could play a little at his house. I know Iron Mike would probably love the 9' Diamond and the 12' snooker table if it is setup yet. It would be good practice while getting ready for the tournament.

I would like to go and perhaps if funds and schedule allows I will,would be nice to meet the TAR gang and Eric,plus I can cheer on some of the hometown boys Mitch Ellerman and Mike Williams who qualified. :smile:

NCS players list and Remaining Qualifiers

Happy Thursday everyone!

Thanks to those who plan to attend and look forward to meeting you at the Golden Nugget. The first round will start at 10 am. Feb. 13th. We are keeping a list of the players who qualify on the CSI website. Visit the News tab, then choose NCS, there you will see the list as it is updated. Due to the DCC we decided not to schedule any qualifiers this coming weekend, but will resume qualifiers Jan. 31 and there are several scheduled the last weekend, Feb. 7-8 around the U.S.

The field is a great mix of talented players from all over country. The NCS 8-Ball Championship at the Golden Nugget will be free for all spectators. From what I've been told many players are expected to come in a few days early and may stay past the weekend. There is a ring game Feb. 15th also at Pool Sharks here in Las Vegas. I'm not sure the time they plan to start, but will post it when known.

I believe the players who qualified out of my area are JD Doherty and Dan Louie. I hope they do well.:)

It looks like a pretty strong field assembled for this one. I'll be stopping by on Sat. and Sun.

i am trying to find the list of NCS qualifiers for the 9ball, but am having no luck. anyone know what NCS 9ball qualifiers are coming up?
