I was interested in someone posting a review about Bob Manzino's cues and their playability... Anyone have any praise or complaints about the way they handle... obviously the craftsmanship is second to none... Thanks

I don't know anyone who plays with his cues they all look so good and he is a perfectionist.I would venture to say they play great.I wish I had one.

I bought one here last year and it reminded me very much of a Southwest, very solid and extremely well built but a bit too stiff for my everyday playing taste. Ross just posted a virtually brand new Manzino player on E-bay you could probably pick it up for a decent price.

Good Luck

Yeah, I have heard the same thing from a friend of mine who has hit a few Manzino's. He said the 2 cues he tried Hit super stiff and hard. He did not like them & was a little disappointed overall.
Of course if your game or preference is a super stiff and hard hitting cue than Manzino's may be a cue for you. I don't know personally as I have never hit a Manzino myself. One thing is 100 % for sure, He makes some of the nicest looking cues ever made.

Thanks...........Paul

I played with the one Don was referring to above for a good 10 hours one night. It was easy to fall into and VERY well balanced. I liked his taper, it was a very tight fitting, stiff cue. Loved it.

I love the crisp hit, balance, taper and overall feel of my Manzino but it's too light for me at 18.5 oz. I prefer 19.75 - 20.5 oz. It's for sale. If interested PM me.

Have owned about 100 cues. My Manzino is a cue i wish i had not sold. It was great looking and played even better. The only draw back they are very costly. Hope this helps.

i always wanted to get a manzino but again they seem more like a pretty cue more than a player s cue. good to see some reviews.
stiff may have to do with the fact that a lot of them are made of ebony.

me wants a manzino

i can tell you two things. first, bob manzino is one of the best cuemakers to deal with. bob will talk with you and make sure that you are satisfied with every aspect of the project and a nicer person you won't find. second, after owning a couple of used manzinos and one that was made for me i can tell you they play great. someone mentioned they are pretty cues, and yes they are, but they are also playing cues. my next manzino will be a box cue.
