Sounds to me like he is dodging you.
He just bought himself some crazy bling Thursday, and from judging from his past auctions, he is totally a poser.
Good luck, hope you get your money back.

I would say he's not sending the cue...contact Paypal and the Dipute Console...

ebay

i don't want the money as much as i want that cue
talking to people at ebay and paypal is like talking to a brick wall
paypal just screwed me out of $102
they said it was my banks fault
my bank says it's paypals fault
i'm more inclined to beleive it was paypals mistake

eBayer

He has been on eBay for 2 years with no negatives. I would not start to worry yet. Stuff happens in life. Send him an email and tell him that you will put this in dispute with eBay and you hope this will get it settled. Your not out yet.

no negatives as a buyer. he hasn't sold anything on there that i see. i've sent him a half dozen emails at least, since the 8th when he said he was shipping it on the 9th
here's the one i just sent this morning

where's my titlist cue at?
this is getting to be a bunch of bs
no responses from you
all i want is what i paid for
it doesn't take three weeks for a funeral

Paypal

Did you use your credit card on paypal, if you did you can dispute the charge when your bill comes. Many card will protect you and not pay if you can prove you didn't get the item.

Have you gotten his contact information and tried giving him a call? He has never sold anything and could have had a problem boxing it up of something. I have no problem doing things like that and probably neither would you but there are a lot of people who may not even own a razor knife or know how to do anything. My neighbor had a old galvanized sprinkler pipe sticking up in the yard that came up from a tree going over in a storm. It was not even hooked up and he had no idea that stuff was buried in his yard. He was telling me he had to get someone out there with a power saw that could cut it off.

I went into shop got a hack saw and did it in like 5 minutes. A lot of people have no mechanical skills at all. Your guy may have gotten himself in a jackpot with the cue, made some excuses and after you send him a few nasty emails he doesn't want to answer. You get more with honey then vinegar. I believe the cue exists and he has all intentions of sending it, we just don't know the real story why he hasn't done it yet.

Some people are kind of nuts and just plain strange to deal with. Send him another nicer email that will get a response something of the nature you understand he may have had a problem but lets get together and get this done, you are happy with the deal and if he is having a problem with the shipping or something you understand but just want to get the cue. Let him off the hook a bit so he is not afraid to respond

i can't call him if he never replies to emails asking for his number. but i have "called " him several things recently. i'm so fu***** sick of these assholes on ebay that don't do what they are supposed to do.
nothing but excuses and bs runaround.
and ebay doesn't do a goddamn thing about it,
because they got their cut and that's ALL that matters to them.

I was going to bid on a ebay Harley until I looked at the sellers other items. They were womens dresses! LOL.... This guy scammed this woman's ebay ID and set up a sting. Be careful...

Click advanced search. on the left click find contact info. Fill it in and they will email you his info in a few minutes. They also send an email to the other person so they now know you are looking for them. I should add, once you make a bid you can get the contact information. On any purchase I really cared about I would call and ask a few questions long before the end of the auction. If there was anyting I didn't like I would cancel the bid..

thanks mac, i didn't know i could find that info on ebay. i'll try calling him tomorrow. if i can find his phone number, i'm assuming it works both ways , that he can find mine. i just have a feeling this will go nowhere with this guy. and i'll be stuck with the hassle of getting money back from him thru paypal. personally, for me, the amount of time spent/wasted on this kind of crap is more important than than the money

From the reading the ad it sounds like a bad cue, I think you may be lucky if you do get out of the deal. I have several of those laying around in what seem like better shape then that one and I would not make them into conversions. I hope this turns out good for you but I have a feeling you may be disappointed either way. Many of those cues are not worth messing with, points popping out the colors are gone and so on, you really have to have the cue in you hands for close examination before buying to tell if it can be of any use or not, it's a gamble buying sight unseen.

It is surprising the value the public has attach to those conversions. Better off with a nice new well built butt for the same money. It's no problem to duplicate an old hoppe style butt colors and all if someone wants that look. I know someone is going to say "So you think you can duplicate a Picasso"? But those old house cue are not Picasso's, they were just cheap house cues and not that great a quality to begin with. I guess the cue makers feel if the public are willing to pay, what the heck. Just my opinion.

Brent,

What you do is fill out the "Contact Information" on this page:

http://cgi1.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?UserInformationRequest

It's a good page to bookmark when you have problems. E-Bay will e-mail you his listed phone number and at the same time, send him your number.

No way it should take this long under any circumstances - something is wrong here, I agree. If you don't get a satisfactory response in a few more days, then you can go through the steps of notifying paypal and e-bay that he didn't send the cue. This will count against him and he may lose his priveleges with either company.

Chris
