I wish, I would own it. LOL.I sold this South West cue a few years ago, and I'm just wondering if anyone out there has it or knows where it is? Does anyone have any estimates on its current value?
Who did the inlay? South West? I've never seen a SW cue with inlay like that before.
Yes, the cue is all original SW.
Cue ID is 333-98.
well, I have no idea where now this cue is located, but I know where Cue ID 333-97 is , its in my hand safe, lol![]()
I'm surprised the inlays/matching pred shaft would increase the value that much! Its a great looking cue don't get me wrong. I just figured the inlays and predator shaft would increase the value another $1000-$1500... but $4500 increase? really?! Damn! inlay work on SW are either REALLY expensive, or REALLY RARE! or of course both.
What does SW charge for inlay work these days? Is it even offered?
I would think most cuemakers would charge an additionnal $300-$500 for inlay work like this. It would be interesting to see the original invoice for this cue. GL finding it!
I might be wrong, but I don't believe you can get an inlaid S/W anymore. That fact, and the likelihood the inlays in this cue are one of one makes me think $4500 is way low. I still say $7500.....if you could buy the cue. More than likely it is unobatinium.
I was saying an INCREASE in value from the $2500-$3000 range to the $7500 mark. I don't know SW's well enough to give definitive answers for value. I'm sure you know Waaay more than I do regarding the pricing of this cue. It's impressive nonetheless. Wonder who did the inlays. When did they stop inlaying cues?
