I am curious if anyone here has played with a McDermott cue with a Piloted 5/16x14 joint?
I am also curious about how their nicer cues play (the American made ones with regular hard rock maple shafts, not the LD shafts that they have on all their cues these days)?
I am seriously considering getting the Mcdermott in the picture below (love the looks, but not sure if I will like the feel, balance, and hit of the cue).
I am told that it is a one of a kind prototype (with a 5/16x14 pin on it) that was made in 2004 (if that helps in any way to answering my questions about the hit, and balance of the cue).
I really love Joss cues, so if it hits anything like a Joss, then I am sure I will love the cue.
I would really like to know if they have a good balance to them, and if anyone here has had one with a 5/16x14 joint (not the standard 3/8x10)?
Thanks for your help.
