I am in El Paso and I had sent him a PM but no answer. He said to contact him if I was ever in town.

I just noticed he hasn't seemed active on here for a bit. Does anyone know if he is ok?

He's fine--- he retired himself from azb. Find him on facebook.

Was the number I gave you good? Did you catch up with him?
 
We were talking a few weeks ago and he was moving away from pool. He is on FB, as was previously stated, and it is most likely the best way to get hold of him.

Edit: I sent him a PM and linked to this thread but he is not always on FB to answer those. Best I can do for now.

That's too bad! Good guy and another source of strong info gone. He did get flamed now and then by PITAs. Probably had his fill.

I don't know how far he's moving away from pool..... He made a Facebook page on thanksgiving where he was st the pool table rather early (in order to be out of the kitchen :p :)

He seems in good spirits on Facebook.
 
Not necessarily pool as in the sport, more from the trolls and such. It's really up to David to explain it, I'm just relaying the outlines here without revealing his personal life. We have been good friends for almost 20 years now and I have some boundaries as to what all I share about him. I'm sure if you send a PM on FB and he is up to it, he will respond, but I can't promise anything on his behalf.

If and when David chooses to respond, I can certainly repost it with his permission but I won't pester him as I wouldn't any of you either. Well except for 14.1 knowledge of course :D
