Anyone use an Omen b/j?

I am looking for a b/j cue and came across a good deal on an Omen. Has anyone shot with one before? How do they break? They break butt part is longer. Do they jump well? Any feedback on this would be greatly appreciated. I have heard nothing but good things about him as a player and cuemaker, just never saw a b/j of his in person.

Thanks

Just ask Poke and Hope. He just had one made and swears by it. I personally can't say anything but the best about one of the nicest and most detail oriented cuemakers out there. I've been playing with one of his cues at least for ten years total.

thanks bud

Thanks Crawfish. I have no idea how to give rep but I'll buy you a drink if you ever come to Chicago or if you are in Vegas for ACS.

I helped Pete with the design of the cue <longer jump option> and I wouldnt use anything else...buy it. You WILL NOT be disappointed

all this talk of B/J's makes me wish the kids were in bed.... I've heard good things about the cue from people who play their fair share of pool.

where ?

Where do you live ? I was gonna say if you are anywhere close to
the Jacoby tournament in Rochy Mtn NC this weekend you could try
mine. I would say grab it if its a good price ,if for some reason you
cant get into it they sell real well on here .As others have said Pete
makes a great cue .

I'll give you another example. I just chatted with Pete while another friend of mine ordered his J/B from him. Special isn't the word. Over $400 for his. NICE one coming. Pete is one perfectionist. I've been playing with the same cue from him for a while. Sold it twice. Bought it back TWICE. We're blood now.

post a pic and a review after you get it. if nothing else you'll help someone else out who has the same questions you're having

Pete is a great friend of mine and I have both a b/j cue and a playing cue from him and absolutely love both!
The b/j cue breaks effortlessly and when I have had others try it out...they have nicknamed it the beast. LOL
As far as the jumping, it also is effortless. Again, other people that have tried it out....on their first jump they usually end up over a foot in the air, not realizing they don't have to try so hard.
I have had mine for 2 years and love them.
Try it out, I am almost certain you will agree.
:D

Omen j/b

Ive been using mine for approx 4 years and its always been great. With the long jump handle I actually jump better, I get more leverage with it. You wont be disappointed with one.

thanks again

Cool guys, thanks. I am paying for it tomorrow so if the gentleman ships it tomorrow I will have it by Tuesday and will post pics and a review immediately. I thought it would be best to buy directly from Pete, but i got too good of a deal from a great AZ'er.

Thanks again.

You don't like it, pm me and show it to me. Thanks.

They are great cues, and extremely well built, but i'm different....... The long handle is great for certain shots, but it makes the cue a bit too heavy and akward for certain jumps. (imo)
