Anyone want to talk about the Russian Kenny situation last night ?

Getting shape is easy. Getting perfect shape consistently is very difficult but when you're consistently pocketing balls and you just know your going to pocket the ball, you can take what the table gives you.

I would think everybody plays better on looser tables. At any rate I think it works out in the wash, Mike Page has proven that time and time again on these very pages.

Kenny is an aquired taste for sure. But he, and everyone else in Philly actually, spent their whole lives on 9’ tables. It wasn’t until the past 5 or so years that barboxes became popular here. Before then, about the only place you’d find a barbox was at a banger bar that a player never stepped foot in.

Things are different now. Most rooms are about half and half here.

I promise though, Kenny has played on every table imaginable all over the country, with the vast majority of play on 9’. Even today.

A lot of people think that getting shape simply means being able to make the next ball...
