Apology to raffle winners...

There have been numerous things going on in my life the last 3 weeks. I won't bore you guys with all the details but I will say that I've been slammed at work the last two weeks (last week was the busiest week my facility has ever had) and I didn't leave work before 7 PM all of last week. I've also been out of town every wkend since the drawing which has made it more difficult.

I will be home this weekend and going to the UPS store for packaging... somethings like the case will require a box being cut down to size. I will then mail everything out during my lunch break on Monday.

I sincerely apologize for the delay in getting everything out and I want to give a HUGE thank you to all of the folks that held onto the items & shipped out to the winners themselves. You guys were much more on the ball than I am right now. Thank you again for your donations and for getting the items out so quickly.

Since you brought it up, I'll share a funny email that a friend and raffle winner sent me....

Did you forget to check Sat delivery for my lock & cue?
Will it be mailed again after you receive it back from fed-ex?
Is Pennsylvania mail notoriously slow?
Is Stanley Ho trying to accuire my stuff and the negotiations between both of you are extremely complex and it will be taken care of in the quickest time possible?

No one has given me a hard time.... just my friend having some fun with me. :p

I just wanted to get the word out that I haven't forgotten people, I've just had a lot on my plate the last 3 weeks. Thanks for your patience & understanding Barbara... you got stuff coming too. ;)

No problem Timberly!! I recieved one of the two items I won. I figured it was shipped by someone, and the other book was probably being shipped by someone else.

Thanks again for all your hardwork on this!

thanks for handling the raffle!

I received my DVD's yesterday. I was going to post a thank you on the board but this thread will work just fine. All of your efforts are much appreciated. Since I received my DVD's before you shipped prizes I guess I'll have to give USPS an attaboy too. :D :D

Of course I do know that shipping the DVD's was Bert's doing. His generous donation to the raffle and timely shipping is much appreciated.

Sure wish I knew who e-mailed you, they deserve some credit also. A mean sense of humor and the funniest thing I have read all day!

Holy crap......it's me!!!! :rolleyes:

You take alllllll the time you need. I think more than a few of us are a little mentally exausted which is worse than just being tired physically.

Speaking of beer, I've got to figure out how to post a picture for you, my Grand-daughter has 2 bottom teeth in and a top one is coming in now and she sucks her top lip over her gums and puts her bottom one over the top, it's horrible looking and hilarious at the same time....remember the bitter beer commercials? :p
