Aramith Billiard Balls

Are all grades of Aramith balls even the vintage sets better than regular no name ball sets? I purchased a vintage unused set with a stripe flaw and was wondering if I am still getting a high-quality billiard ball set.

Meh… dynospheres are great if you want to save a few bucks. You’ll never know the difference

Yes, every Aramith set, even the low grades, are better than the no-name brands. The no-name brands are not phenolic.
that is true but now you can find a set in China made of phenolic that is just as good when it comes to material. The only differences is the QA is not as good as Aramith. So it's possible the variance between balls are bigger than Aramith.

Thanks for the responses. I purchased my set of Aramith's off of eBay for $59 new unused in the original packaging, but the 10-ball stripe is 90 degrees from the rest of the stripes which I thought was not a deal breaker for the money. I'll see how different they play and sound from the 20-year-old set of standard balls we are now using. Hopefully it was a good purchase.
