Archer/Stricland & the Legends & Champions Tour coming to Texas

I spoke w/ my coach, he said he can help out with the Austin research. He was not sure how many of the young guys could afford the $200 and many of the older ones may be too stubborn. Not sure who is the target customer demographic is for this.

roosterman...That is a BS statement. We "graduate" 500-600 students a year, through our school (and that's just our school in Dallas...among our instructors we teach 1000's of students every year). The methods we teach are successful for 98% of the people who go through the school...and then apply the methods through proper practice. Every student fills out an evaluation form at the end of the school. NOBODY, who has been through the school, has ever said it wasn't worth the $$$. Have there been students who didn't correctly apply what they were taught (and fell back into their old bad habits)? Sure...but that's not the fault of the method or the teacher!

I know people that have spent alot of money to go your school, are saying maybe your teaching methods are not up to par.

LeagueShirts...Anybody who is looking to improve their pool game!:D $200 is cheap for this kind of interaction with these champions. People spend way more than that on almost any cue.

Scott, I think that post was directed at Our school and not yours. I am not sure if I missed something on here but I didn't think he was talking about you. What did I miss? Even if he was talking about your school it is BS as You guys are certified instructors and have been so for a long time. The angle we have is seeing inside the mind of a multi time worlds champ, both worth the money in their own ways.

Ok, Duh. I just figured it out. Randy was the one he was referring to. Got it.

I spoke to Johnny today, first time since he got home from the "Tour" with Earl & Mark. He was very happy and had fun, I remember when we were all talking about putting it together at my house Earl wasnt there, He is welcome anytime, But Johnny and Mark and myself were just throwing out ideas, Mark was beating my playing snooker on my Diamond. There was no doubt this plan was a great idea-Earl/Johnny but not all the questions were ansered as to how it was gonna go, I was just happy to be there listining and giving my 2 ents, I take no credit for what they have accomplished-but they did it!! I remember Johnny calling me after a few schools and he was happy and said it was comming together great. Today we spoke and he said "We got something real good going".

I dont wantto sound like a pitch man, but the time you get with the 2 top 9 ballers in their era from America for $200 is stealing, If the economy was right $300 would be fair. I have never had a lession from either of them, and played Johnny justa few times, were friends but we dont talk much pool, we leave that out of our friendship-we talk about Tiger Woods and Mountain Dew. I am personally interested in a lession from Earl I'd like to hear what he has to say.

I give the credit to Mark for putting this together, We had many discussions about other plans, that didnt come together for various reasons, this one is his deal and i'm happy for him and encourage anyone who can go to do it,.

As always, thank you for your support Eric. There are hundreds of different ways and ideas that can be followed in the promotion of Pro Pool and one day the other ideas I have will come through.
It isn't often that someone who loves the sport as much as I do are lucky enough to call it their job and work with two of the greatest in history. They trust and support me in everything I do with them. This obviously helps. My problem Eric is how to top this in the future.

I have spoken with Clicks in El Paso before we left for the road and I will be firming everything up on Thursday or Friday with them. So at this point they are the only people in El Paso we are talking to but it is not 100% yet. I need to find the MGRs number actually so if you know it please PM me, thanks

I'm Sorry - I thought that was Mark! LOL

I didn't mean any offense to Tony - please accept my apology.

No worries at all...I'm not like best friends with Tony, matter of fact, I don't really talk to him, I just know him from when I used to play APA. I doubt he'd be offended, and it takes quite a bit for me to be offended. I'm usually the one doing the offending. :D

Hi ROOSTERMAN: I'm sorry to hear that. Second hand info is not very trustworthy. So I ask you right up front, when did you attend our school? Give me your opinion. I want to hear it from you, please.

Thanks you....SPF=randyg

my pool school day in Seattle will be a memory that I will cherish all my life. My friend Dave Huett beat Johnny Archer in his game of 8 ball and he will have those bragging rights forever.

I played 2 money sets after the lesson and I incorporated the new techniques and got the cash. That and the money Johnny won me by beating Larry Nevell and it was the deal of a lifetime. I need to get to a computer so I can post all my pics.
Do I get a piece of the action since I drove JA to the school where u learned and then made $$? Hey man just thought I would give it a try, :) it was nice to meet you,
Mark,

Here's a few pictures I took at the Portland School that illustrate their "hands on" approach. When Earl was working with me I think he was trying to bend my fingers into the shape of a pretzel. :D I highly recommend this school to anyone interested in improving their game.

Earl and Johnny look like budding chiropractors! :)

Nice shots. Gives us a "feel" for what we missed.

The one where JA has both hands on that students leg does look funny and there should be a caption with it. The only thing I could think is, you know you are bigtime when you have Archer massage your leg while you play pool.

Come to New England PLEASE!!!!

Ben
Working on it, it may not be until the end of the year or even the begining of next year I'm afraid but I have had a few emails asking about that area so if the demand is there we will make it happen. Thanks,

I think the caption should read...

Why are the Archer / Strickland lessons so successful?
Because they've mastered the Vulcan Mind Meld.
It's a method that top pros use to really get into the mind of another player.

Translation please ?

Or the pic with JA hold ing the guys head "whats this?" "A brain sucker" "Whats it doing?" "Starving to death" :) an oldie but a goodie.

They came through Medford, Oregon and played some challenge games, signed autographs, posed for pictures. Mark and Johnny were very personable and as nice and professional as could be. Earl did some trick shots, I challenge anyone to shoot those wing shots like Earl! It is incredible to watch.

Problem is Earl continues to be a jerk and constantly puts down the sport that has allowed and still allows him to make a living. I have seen 3 exhibitions by Earl now over the years and each time he rants on and on about how screwed up pool is and how he is the only one who knows how to fix it. It gets old quick Earl. You owe more to this great sport.
