Also Nils will not be the ref for this match. I have a very qualified person who I have spoken to about doing the job and I an just waiting to hear back and should know tomorrow or later today.

Thanks Fasteddie, I am sure that you would do a great job but I already have someone kinda lined up. if it don't work out we can talk. I think reffing the match would be a lot of fun.
 
Great new news. We now have the referee in place for the event. Some people have said a player makes the best ref well i am not sure if that is true or not but if it is we are in luck. Our latest addition to the team is Mr Bill Stock.

I asked Bill to just send me a few things he has done as a ref so all can know that he is a very qualified asset to our event. Below is a brief resume.

Referee since mid 80’s, Head Referee for the IPT. CueSports International Director of Referees and Rules Administrator, Editor for The Official Rules of the BCA Pool League

Tournament Director for DCC, US Open One Pocket, US Open 10 Ball, US Open 9 Ball.

I also have vast knowledge of most games and used to play well. 20 time Alaska State Champion in 14.1, 9-Ball, One Pocket, 8-Ball. Many runs over 100 in 14.1.

This event just keeps getting better. I hope that we get the support from the fans that will enable us to do many more of these events.

I'm finishing up the poster. It looks pretty cool IMHO. :) Any more sponsors? Get on fast so you'll get some good visibility. It'll be sent all over the place.

Great choice Mark!! Bill is perfect for the job! (Ref, that is) Just don't hand him a camera at a critical, 'once in a lifetime' type shot and expect him to pull it off. :grin-square: :grin-square:
