Archer & Varner Southern Tour first day, getting ready

If all I ever got was barely enough to pay my bills and eat.......I'd be all over it.

I don't think they've got room for 4, tho. And now that I know that Nick doesn't get good shape with truckstop food, I'm not sure I'd wanna go. LOL. :)

I'd give anything to make a living in some aspect of the pool industry, tho................

Just one portion of the cues for sale that Nick Varner laid out. I ended up carrying a bag of them to the van and it was like luggin' a dead body in a sleeping bag.......not that I've ever done that.

Thanks for the great review and pics Justin. And Mark, I was in stitches with the last story about breakfast and the car ride!

Keep 'em coming!

I have never seen that many cues in one place at one time, I already have a bunch, but would not be able to resist, I would have to buy at least one.:grin-square:

Had a good night last night at Fast Eddie's the locals and the staff are all awesome and enjoyed chatting with everyone about one thing or another. We stayed for a couple of drinks after the show and there was lady there who seemed to have had a few drinks and she had the habbit or saying EERRRR loudly at the beginning, middle or end of every sentence. Now I don't think this was just a nervous habbit as she made fun of herself doing it. So I decided that I was gonna do it too, this amused her and the others who were around. Then nick says "I think I need to put my cue away before I forget EEERRR" Now this is even funnier to everyone when JA says "Nick when you come back bring my case too EERRRR" Before long everyone was adding EERR to their sentences and our friend was loving it. I have no idea what her name is but when I saw Nick this morning he told me that she bought one of his cues and said "That lady bought a cue last night" I asked which one and he said "You know EERR" JA was sat there too and he laughed and so now her name is EERR.
We all got to sleep in a little today and we needed it. I may even take a nap this afternoon as we only have to be at the pool room at 6pm for the clinic. I will be back if I remember anything or something happens.

Nick had a similar bounty of cues that he brought to Louisiana on his last trip. They barely fit in the trunk of my car and of course I had to bring him down to the hood for some of our local cuisine. I had to get up every 10 minutes to check on the car and his cues. It ended well and that's all that matters.

Hey it's was nice meeting and hanging out with y'all at the billiard den Tuesday and Wednesday. Hope y'all can make it back this way soon.

Steve
