I'm also totally digging the multiple cameras to choose from. It sounded pretty loud in there the first day I too (that I watched). I notice they brought in some nice blue carpet.

Let's see..
10 bucks, 3 cameras
too bad there is no chat function..... or is there?

oh well 2 out of 3 ain't bad

Watching via SOPCAST only and the live stream is smooth and excellent.

World Ten Ball World Championships

Watching now, thanks to f210, it's awesome, great stream and commentary. You will have to listen through two voices but at least one of them is in English. This Gomez/Yang match is excellent.
Thanks again, f210.

Sopcast

Download sopcast, then run program and select Star Sports. However, they are doing only an abbreviated broadcast, like as we speak they are broadcasting not the world 10-ball but rather the US 9 ball. But as the round of 64 starts they may be the better choice. right now the $10 stream gets you all the pool.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Due to the failure of ESPN-Star Sports to
deliver the broadcast service it committed to
the World Ten Ball Championship in Manila,
Raya Sports is formally cutting off starting
today (November 28) the broadcast of the
WTBC by ESPN-Star Sports.

Broadcast coverage of the WTBC will
continue to be provided, however, by the
following networks:

1. Live coverage by ABS-CBN Studio 23 in the
Philippines up to the tournament’s end on
Monday, November 30.

2. Worldwide online coverage by www.
clubcapo.tv. For a minimal fee of $9.99 for the
entire event, fans can follow the WTBC on
both the TV table and three video streaming
tables. The video stream is of excellent
quality.

Meanwhile, Raya is also negotiating with
another global network for the international
broadcast of the WTBC.

We regret the inconvenience and loss that
this means for millions of pool fans in Asia.

I bought the feed & I'm gonna check out sopcast. The clubcapo.tv feed sucks for me. It's choppy as hell. I know some will chastise me for complaining, but I've got my local storgae at "unlimited" & it can't give me a feed that doesn't pause every 1-2 seconds?!?! I've never had a problem with TAR or OTR or Accu-stats.

ESPN STAR (via SOPCAST) is no longer covering the rest of the tournament starting tonight. Please refer to the announcement from RAYA sports that I posted in my earlier post.

I just bought the PPV stream for $9.95 tonight and so far, my stream has been excellent. No buffering at all, just nice and smooth.

FYI, they are just replaying DAY 3 (yesterday) in SOPCAST.

That's too bad...

My feed has been great. Not crystal clear but very watchable and no lag or buffering problems, which is great considering the multiple camera feeds. My connection here at the house is just cable but seems to handle it just fine. Thorsten just beat the hell out of that Jericho Baneras(sp) and played 10 ball about as well as I've ever seen. He just got out from everywhere. Van Van vs Konstantin is about to start, should be a great match.

I'ts still too bad we can't chat. we should all pick a ustream channel (Bigtruck, TAR) whatever, and chat there. I have two monitors so it would be easy

It sure looks like a live match on Sopcast right now. The current match is Corteza vs. Stepanov.

That is good then. They did not cover the first tv table match between Hohmann and Banares. Let us hope they have sorted things out with RAYA.

at the beginning they had buffering issues but they have been resolved. since 2 days the stream runs almost perfect. i cant complain anymore, what i did notoriously in the beginning. i can recommend and lets be honest. 10$ is nothing!
