As you leave Brown's turn left at Spring Forest. Turn right at the next shopping center (before you get to the light). It's a HUGE room, and the first thing you'll see when you walk in the door is those big, beautiful, full-size snooker tables. The billiard tables are near the back left of the room, as you face from the door.branpureza said:What!? I didn't know that... thanks again David. I actually rode around looking for it the other day because I knew it was somewhere close to Browns but I couldn't find it. I'm gonna have to mapquest it and check that place out.

Here's a link to a google map: http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF-...-78599360,5570736542569495337&li=lmd&z=14&t=m
It's like 1/4 mile from Brown's.
Enjoy,

If anyone goes by New York Billiards, please get some info for the USBA list of rooms with carom tables. Besides address and phone number, please try to get the name of a contact, email if any, number and type of tables, tournaments, if any, and any other info that prospective players might be interested in.DoomCue said:Hey Brandon, just in case you don't see it in the other thread, New York Billiards has 3 5x10 billiards tables.

Nhuy Billiards
4030 Capital Blvd, Raleigh, NC

which I'm guessing will have carom tables, but they might not speak much English.

I went by Brown's today but they only had 1 carom table and it wasn't a 5x10, it was only around 9 or possibly a big 8... I dunno, it was my first time seeing a small billiard table like that...(I think there is a 4-ball korean billiard game or something you play on those). There was also an empty spot with a light hanging over it where it looked like another billiard table might have been but it's gone now...
The snooker tables were awesome though... I hit some balls on one for around an hour and it played great. I wonder how much one of those bohemuth's costs... they were Wilhelmenas I believe..
Hopefully they will have a 5x10 at that place you mentioned Bob... I miss playing billiards every now and then.
I do not plan on going to NY Billiards any time soon , but they do have billiards tables, snooker tables and pool tables. It is very upscale and they are very cordial there.Bob Jewett said:If anyone goes by New York Billiards, please get some info for the USBA list of rooms with carom tables. See http://www.usba.net/USBABilliardRoomsHome.asp for example or to find a room. Please send the info to me or to the USBA Secretary, JimShovak@aol.com.
The list of rooms can't be maintained without the help of volunteers.
