Are there two "Boston Shorty's"?

I remember Shorty in pictures with two or three gals hanging on em, he worked both sides of the cloth pretty well. He wasn't a handsome man by any means, but his personality was very attractive, plus he always seemed to have a nice bankroll.

Isn't there a big NBA star that makes a big production of talcing his hands and clapping a cloud of talc before the game? I know I've seen it and it always reminds me of Shorty. Didn't Shorty when he was done talcing everything, both sided of the joint, wrap and all, "clean" his hands by slapping them on the table, thereby leaving hand prints and a mess? All part of the show I figured.

I kinda remember him messin' up the table, but NO one took it too the extremes like the Mexican Jumping Bean did yrs ago, he did it to completely change the game, and in turn made it a NO NO.
Morro and I had our go arounds in the late seventies, and he had not yet introduced this TALC/Move to his opponents, he probably did it to beat Little AL, who was a tough customer in the seventies. AL practiced soooooooooooo much, that his shit tails, that always were untucked, had horizontal holes worn in the tails because of the Gold Crown metal edge on the top rail, he too was somewhat Short.
