Does these rankings make sense for 5,6,7,8,9, and 10-ball beating the different ghosts in a race to 7 game sets?

5 ?ball =C player

6 ?ball= C+ player

7 ?ball=-B player

8 ?ball=B player

9 ?ball=B+ player

10 ball=A player

The people I think of as C players are incapable of beating the 5-ball ghost. As for the rest, it depends a lot on the table, which I think can make a 2-ball difference in your ghost level.

Thanks Bob for your input. I guess your right, a C player would hardly ever beat the ghost in a race to 7 game set. Johnnyt

I would think they are fairly close on a 7ft table, but I do agree with Bob about the C player, prolly not gonna beat the 5 or 6 ball ghost even on a 7ft.

On medium-difficulty equipment, in my opinion:

Anyone who can beat the ten ball ghost is a strong A+ or better.

An "A" is just a slight favorite to beat the nine ball ghost.

A "B" player should be able to play the six ball ghost even.

A "C" player should be able to beat the three ball ghost but should be overmatched by the four ball ghost.

This is lines up with my way of thinking as well. On med-tough equipment
9=Aish, 10=A+, 12=Pro

I think Johnnyt's ratings are based on the idea that an A player is either pro or semi pro. Correct me if I'm wrong.

But if that is the case, then it appears his ratings are consistent with the general consenseus.

Please tell me who this Ghost guy is and does he like to gamble??!!:wink:
