This is about where someone gets banned.
Anyone else find it as hilarious as I do that a bunch of crusty, old pool players whom apparently roll fairly high flock to these boards to verbally swat at each other like teenage girls? No wonder the game has went under, it seems the people who are most involved with it are a bunch of 'primadonnas.'
Seems like everytime I bother to look at this forum there's a thread bumped up pretty high that's nothing but people pointing fingers and making empty threats, if any of you were planning on getting physical it would have happened the numerous times you were face-to-face, settle down.

The last time there was a little finger pointing by these crusty, old pool players it resulted in a match for $20,000, streamed live by Pat Fleming from the Accu-Stats Arena in NJ, and drew around 800 viewers over two days.

It's a shame pool has reached that level. I remember the good old days when people were just regular old a-holes. Now these pretentious a-holes have showed up and ruined it for the rest of us.
Take a guy like Dirty Low Down Red. He would lie, hustle cheat, steal and do whatever it took to get you cash but I doubt if anybody ever accused him of being a pretentious a-hole. Nothing pretentious about the guy, his stuff was all out there for everybody to see.
Plus, Pretentious Red is a lousy nickname. It has zero character.

Eric, I don't know you in the least and don't have a dog in this race. I seem to recall someone, perhaps it was Scott Lee, told me he has met you and you're a really good guy. I would tell you that making any kind of physical threat, even implied, in writing, on the internet, is not a good idea. I wouldn't think you'd want to put yourself at risk for legal, or civil, ramifications over some stupid internet pool argument.

I may be an asshole on here but people are glad to see me show up in the pool room. From what I gathered no one likes to see you show up in the pool room. When I show up we have a good time and some fun action ensues. When you show up the mood takes a downward turn. And from what one of your former air force colleagues said it was no different when you were working.

Well I a jerk but so are you and in me you finally attacked someone who won't lay down for your crap. Lou is a close friend of mine. He has offered me repeated help, advice, guidance, and friendship related to things on and off the pool table. He has many friends in St. Louis, which you have chosen to not speak with.
Let's get back to what matters. You playing Lou again...
It would appear to me that Lou is correct. You know he will not agree to a 10 ahead set, so you only offer to play a set he won't agree to. Other than a 10 ahead set, what do you want? Make a counteroffer.

I wanted to go back and watch it again. I remember it not being as close as JB has mentioned that it was in this thread.
