Thanks for the updates. My comment about the comeback was somewhat of a joke, but I'm happy it really turned into a good match. I can imagine that Vivian was riling the crowd up with her comeback.

I like to watch her. That was a good effort, from such a deficit. I was pulling for her, for vBookie reasons. Either way, I'll come out ahead, but more so if Allison loses. I don't think that will happen though.

Now that Vivian is gone, I'll be pulling for Monica, though I'll be happy with whoever wins the Monica/Kim match (just for a change of pace from someone named Corr or Fisher winning).

vivian did entertain the crowd very well and the crowd cheered her thru out.
Before the match vivian was claiming that she will``beat the s$$t out of``Allison:cool:
 
The match just got underway.

Monica had the first real shot and missed a 2 ball. Kim ran down to the 5 and got bad shape. Both players missed the 5-ball before Monica took control and ran down to the 8. Got too straight on it and missed it trying to move the cue ball across table. Kim finished off the last 2 balls.

1-0 Kim
 
An extended safety battle on the one leads to ball in hand and a table run for Kim.

Kim 2-0
 
Another extended safety battle on the 1. This one leads to ball in hand for Kim. Kim runs to the 4 and misses. Monica runs to the 6 and misses. Kim runs out.

3-1 Kim
 
Kim misses a 4-ball but Monica can only get to the seven which she leaves tough. Makes a half hearted effort at it, but gets a good leave and is able to run out when Kim's safety leaves a shot.

Kim 3-2
 
A great safety by Monica leads to ball in hand but she leaves herself hooked on the seven during her run-out. She kicks and hits the seven but sells out the final 3 balls.

Kim 5-2
 
Kim is running out to go ahead 6-2 and she miscues on the 7-ball. She leaves Monica safe and Monica kicks the seven ball in. The 8 is already down and Monica then misses the 9. Kim doesn't.

Kim 6-2
 
Monica starts into a run but hooks self on 4-ball. The frustration is really getting to Monica now. Kim makes a nice run to get down to the 9-ball but scratches as she makes it.

Kim 6-3
 
Now we are seeing a little frustration from Kim as she can't get out in a fairly open rack. Monica takes advantage and pulls back to 6-4.
 
This has to be a fun day for the fans there. First, Kim has a lead over Karen, lets it go, then wins. Allison goes up 6-0 on Vivian, loses the next 5 games, but pulls it out. Now, Monica is trying for yet another comeback.

Wow, congrats to Kim. I certainly did not have her pegged to be in the finals. Of course, though, isn't she British? If so, it was only a matter of time. Poor Monica, though. She just can't catch a break.
