Danny is at the Hilton event in Pittsburgh and wants to sit down tonight to answer some questions from the fans. This is your chance to submit a question to Kid Delicious and get a response later this evening.

Post your questions in this thread and we will get with Danny for answers tonight.

What do you think/say to people when they talk about your slow mythodical play! None the less you are a great player and enjoy watching you!

Danny,

I hope it's ok if I ask more than one question.

There was a lot of talk about this at the time it happened, but I don't know if I ever read anything coming from you about it. What happened concerning the invitation to last year's BCA Open?

Do you think there's a problem with the system used to select players for the World Pool Championships? If so, what would you change?

Finally, I know the transition from road player to tournament player is a tough one. I've heard some say the road is more pressure, some say tournaments are - what do you think?

Whether or not you answer these questions, Danny, I'm always pulling for you. It's very rare to find a genuinely good guy in the pool world, and you're one of the few. May all the rolls (and I don't mean bread) go your way.

Hay Danny
fast or slow what do u think wins more matches ?? And all so how do u clam you nerves playing in big or small tournments ?????
Thanks. Art from Nyc Now in GA ......

Hi, Danny! :D Been reading some great stuff about you as of late, especially the Sports Illustrated article. The author is an incredible writer and really hit the mark (IMO). :)

Here's my question. What in the world can be done about this racking dilemma problem? It doesn't matter if it's a loser-break or winner-break format, but sometimes players get into verbal arguments over the rack. I think a neutral racker for every match would be the answer to this dilemma, but I know it is not economically feasible.

Good luck in the tournament. The cream always rises to the top, and I know you're going to get there.

This is from one big guy to another.

How big of effect does being a big guy have on your pool game?
Can you pinpoint any one phase that you had to make adjustments?

I always wonder about long events and if I can last as long as the smaller
guy. In the past I have played for as long as 39 straight hours. I was a little smaller then. Last year I played in an event and noticed a little mental
breakdown at the days end. I had played almost non stop for 14 hours after
a full day before. It was a 3 man event and I was into the matches
of my teammates as well. I think this makes it even more difficult to stay sharp.

Whats your routine or general lieks and dislikes for a long event like this?
Do you eat at cerain times before or after matches? etc?

I really like the focus in your game and wish I could find the ability to
concentrate that much.
Good luck in all your future events

Q for Danny: Have you ever considered travelling to Europe to play in a tournament ?

Hey Danny,

Don't really have a question for you, but I would like to personally say congrats on all your recent good fortune.
It's refreshing to see good things happening for someone with a good attitude towards the game and others.
Hope to see you in Valley Forge.

Best of luck for continued success!

Jim

Getting a Game...

Kid,

Just curious if you have even walked into a pool hall, gotten some balls, and placed a bill on the edge of the table while you warmed up looking for a game.

I've read a lot about your playing on the road "undercover" and was just wondering if you have ever taken the "direct" approach and what the results have been.

Thanks,
Mike

Danny,

Was there any one thing that most improved your game? Also, what about your practice routines/drills. Care to share any/all?

Thanks.. Chuck P.

Expectations

Hi Danny,

With all of your recent successes in pro tournaments, how do you handle playing in smaller regional events that still have plenty of talent? Is there added pressure that many people in the room "expect" you to win or play well? How do you get fired up to play a local challenger that would just love to take you down?

Thanks and maybe we'll see you on the Planet Pool tour this weekend!
Andy

Danny,

First off, congratulations on a great run as of late and I hope you have continued success. I really enjoyed watching you shoot at both Renaissance and the Ocean State open.

My question is about your aiming technique. I noticed that when you are stroking a shot you are aiming very high on the cueball and then adjust at the last second. Is there a reason for this and if so, how does this help when delivering the shot?

Thank you in advance and thank you for making yourself available for questions.

Best regards,
Dave

What size of tables do you prefer, bar box or big tables. Also, do you have one time you can think of where you played your best.

Danny, I notice you put on "Lip Balm" alot during your matches, is there some special ingredient in lip balm that helps you play better? :D

Mack

I can't believe nobody has asked this one yet! Danny, can you send me the Sports Illustrated artice? I'm not a subscriber and I heard that it's not in the newstand issues. Congrats on all your success and let's hope there's more to come in the future. Peace, John.

I got one.

Hey Danny,

Have you seen Marc Masden lately? How is Chris doing? Maybe I will see you in Reno this year, or even in Sac for the Jamboree. Oh BTW this is Kevin aka Crow I think you remember me. Anyways congrats and take it easy.

Kevin

Hi Muxy, In all sports some teams play fast and some play slow. This is my
first full year on the pro tour. I play a little slower when I get nervous. But every tournament, I play a little faster as my confidence grows. Thank
you for the question. Hope to see you at a tourny.

Cshots, Hi there,

I look up to Tony Robles for being a good player win or
lose and always talking to the fans after every match.

Efren is also a great player but there is no way I could mentioned every player that I think plays great.
