Hey welcome back. What took you so long. We know you couldnt do without us. Im kind of surprised that you a devout christian is not offended by a fellow poster who posts as GOD. We ridicule him/her not God. It might surprise you that this is my country too. I aint going anywhere. I mean unless you expect every Black person to go back to Africa or every Latino to go back to Mexico or Latin America or any person of Irish, English, German ancestry to go back where they came from. I mean the Indians are letting you stay here. You get my drift. Even a racist imbecile like you can get that simple proposition.

It might even surprise you that I was raised a christian. Let me let you in on a secret. Caucasians arent the only Christians no matter what you desire in that twisted mind of yours. Im glad you got that little bit I wrote about the ASS. Im sure even you would. If you want to go back to talking about pool I know where that Predator shaft can be shoved up.
 
OK Folks, you win! I have been offended. Small minds strike again. Ban someone? Again? This forum, like a TV or radio has an off button. If you do not like the subject or the poster, just put them on your "Ignore" list. I choose to read "the silencers" posts. I find some of them mentally stimulating. Others, not!

Why aren't there more well known Black pool players. My home room had two very high quality Black players. Every tournament I travelled to with one of them, other players stared. What's he doing here? Downhill from there. I'm sure each of the well known Black players was subjected to much worse. Visiting the DCC was a real eye opener. I'd never met or seen Glenn Rogers or Billy Palmer play before.

My parents taught me not to discuss either religion or politics in public. What great advice from some "old farts".

I'm a Christian and I don't understand this post you wrote. You need to study your bible some. Jesus turned the other cheek, your post certainly doesn't reflect that teaching. Jesus embraced all, even those who did not believe, your post doesn't reflect that teaching either. Jesus told us to love our neighbors, and your post does nothing to reflect that teaching. Are you a Christian?

I agree with Yobagua that all of us Christians, including people of other religions that believe in a God, should be disgusted with some moron on this board using "God" as an alias. I don't respond to him/her most of the time because I am so disgusted. If you feel the need to blast someone, that's who you should be directing your anger to.

GEEZ. Nobody is perfect, including those calling themselves Christians. I think that that is part of the problem with that religion now. Many have lost sight of the original vision, and loving and supporting one another, but instead having given into turning on each other, like a pack of wolves in starvation.

BTW, 'God' is not a Christian that I am aware of, probably an agnostic at best, but is a scholarly individual who reads the Bible, looking not for faith, but rather odd things with which to tease the real Christians to ire, and deriving somekind of perverse pleasure out of upsetting them. And He seems to see himself as SO superior, a person of intellect and knowlege to those who have accepted a faith out of what he sees as emotion.

I know Rick. At least he is a real person, who is what he says he is, not some kind of alias, which is a distinguishment not shared by some who I will not name here.

Truly cant believe everyone gets so worked up over an internet forum. I dont really care, just come here for different views on the sport (or game, whatever it is to you.) Its starting to seem like people are taking themselves a bit to seriously on here, and have to find someone else to belittle. Since FL has been gone, people were looking for someone else to pick on. If Silencer goes, who is next?

Maybe someone else on this forum has an opinion that conflicts with your views. Yeah its a forum, go ahead, state your opinion. But is it after all really that important to get so worked up? Who cares? Youre pretty much crazy, and more ignorant than everyone claims Silencer is, if you think you can easily change someone elses opinion.

Never would of taken the time to write this, but I am on watch in a closed down hanger... the joys of being a lowly airman. So out of boredom, thats my 2 cents, take it or leave it. Make a down payment on a stick of gum with it or something creative.
 
I got news for you pal, cursing and vulgarity are just about the same thing; kind of a redundant statement. I'm sorry if I hurt your delicate sensiibilities but my point remains the same, and I'll say it nicely this time. Please refrain from using ethnic slurs because that really does bother me. If you want to call me a dumba@@ or something, I'm cool with that, I just don't think it's cool to insult a whole race of people to make a point.

And, you are correct that I'm a lousy Christian because I have sinned and unfortunately I will sin some more before I die. I wish I could be a better person and I try every day to improve. Maybe one of these days when I see a post where someone uses an ethnic slur, I'll find a better way to respond.

This thread has gotten too weird, first, why would any body with half a brain ask Bernie anything about pool. 2nd, what in the hell is God and these people rattling around back and forth, I aint got a clue what is going on here either.
