Welcome back Blud.
Try not to hold up. :D
That picture also shows the maker puts his 3/8 stud into the forearm.
I don't see any phenolic ring at the bottom either.
What do you think of that?
This maker claims he doesn't take orders anymore.
Just get on his waiting list.
Yet, I have not seen any of his cues.

Joseph check your PM's from me.

nope, that's not mine lol... mine is special... one of a kind, it looks rough, but it does as it is designed...

thanks,

Jon

I'll take some pictures of it sometime.

Blud, what do you think about this?
Kinda funny but I believe they mentioned about inserting tissue paper in there to prevent buzzing one time.
I don't see any phenolic ring.
How about putting the stud into the forearm?

Blud, what is your favorite non-CNC lathe?
Thanks.

I use jets. But the best one is going to be my two new models I am building and will have them for sale within about 2 month's or so.

That'd be great. CNC only or manual too?
Thanx.

oh really??? would you???

Yes. Fat Larry taper.
Now that you're ordering a CNC lathe, it might not matter.
Maybe you can machine me some titanium pins from now on. :D

hold it right there... i'm not ordering a CNC... a good friend of mine (who lives 5 mins away) ordered one, and will get it in oct. I will be able to use it if i want, (in exchange for some kick ass inlay designs) for making my own shafts (shaft taper) until i finish my tapering machine (have no idea when lol) and i could use it to make templets for the tapering machine... now why would you go around saying i'm getting CNC??? lol, i don't go around saying you have a thread mill, when you only have a ground nail...

Thanks,

Jon

Wups... wasn't supposed to tell anybody about that special nail...

HI Mr. Blud

I have seen and use some of your cues. I think you build a good playing cue. My question is / is
there a cue maker that you look up to/ or one who you think was a Great cue Maker? If so, who
is he or she ? I was just curious because being an artist as myself ... I have looked at others work
and admire their gifts as well as my own. If you rather email me that would be fine. Thanks
