I am looking for a few (pro) instructor recommendations in the ASU/Tempe/Phoenix area that would enjoy giving a surprise lesson or two (hopefully more) to my 21 yr old son while he's in school down there. He's new to the game but has shown great interest and potential on both 8' and 9' tables the few hours we've played. I think he'd really get a kick out of a pro instructor lesson or two to see where it may take him. Who would YOU want your kids to receive their first lessons from? Thank you!!

I would recommend Roger Long. His contact info can be found here:

BU Instructor List

That's a great surprise gift idea.

Scott Frost or Mitch Ellerman give lessons, if you have interest let me know and I will help get it set up.

Thank you -- I will be making calls to the recommended folks this weekend -- I really appreciate the help!

Mitch charges $20.00/hr. 1 hour minimum. He advertise in the local Pool Newspaper. True also about Jerry Briesath, but he use to charge like $80.00/Hr with a 4 hour minimum.
