At Diamond Billiards in Midlothian VA

Sorry, jb...I wanted to come down and take you for a little test drive, but rode my bike after work...gotta eat enough dinner for a medium sized family and then get up at 5 for work.

And diamond is almost 2 hrs away.:embarrassed2:
 
Yeah, Midlothian is quite some distance from me. Should you visit Fredericksburg though....

Where do you play there anyway? Is jj's still a pool room? I know it got a different name, post loar.

I went to hard times once, but those diamonds were messed up, rails super fast, the balls picked up speed after contact. I shot a short rail bank and that ball is still rolling, 4 years later.

I been playing at HT quite a bit lately--mostly Monday evenings for league. The rails are noticable.

JJ's became Dragon's Lair and now is the Green Room under new owners. Tables still in rough shape and quite a bit slower than anywhere else. Action is 1P only unless you want to play Chris. Food is pretty good. They dont give alot of action to outsiders from my experience. They have been doing a Saturday evening 9ball tourney that is handicapped.

You should come here in Northern Virginia/Washington DC...I'm pretty sure some peeps would buy cases from you here.

I asked the same thing when I read he was in N.VA but he was leaving that morning. I just missed him. He told me he would post his location from now on, and that is why he listed his next stop in Richmond!!!

I want another case but I am too picky!!!

Bumped into John at Q-ball in Springfield of all places!

Just doing my usual practice session with a buddy.
Wish you'd been able to hang out and hit some balls John.
Those tables are a joy to play on, just refelted and shiny polished balls that rack easily.

Have fun at Diamond, it's a great room.

I would have loved to stay and play some more with you but it was time to get moving as we already had made a date with someone else. Karen and I are going to try and project better where we will be so we can set up play dates with AZbers.

It's more fun that way.
 
Some pals posted a pic of you at Diamonds that night. Wish I had seen this thread earlier or the pics they posted. Would of liked to come up there and meet you. Atleast Thomas got to come up and become a dealer!
