John Barton gave us a visit in Tulsa, at Magoos. The cases he brought made me want to throw my Instroke in the nearest round file.

He had lots of lookers & customers.

John played some 8-Ball & Golf.... he strokes very well.

Dymphna is a great name for a pool player....
...St Dymphna is the patron saint of the insane.
Warms the cockles of me half-Irish heart, so it does.

BTW, of the guys who sell on here and still think it's ok to rant about
AZ members who use 'les noms de guerre'......
....JB has the saving grace of making me laugh sometimes.......
..."Browse or beat up a case maker."

This is what I look like in person when dealing with "real" people :-)

Yes, I would expect a successful sale would put a smile on your face.

But do your customers have to show three pieces of ID to buy one?

I own one of your cases whether you like it or not.....
...it came with two cues I bought.

And a great player wanted to show me a cue this week.....
...the first thing I asked was what kind of case was it?
...he didn't know.
I opened the lid...it was one of yours....it was very well made.
I asked how he could buy a case when he didn't know who made it?
He said "What's the difference, it's a good case."

Wish John would have brought a "hustler" case like he made me to show you guys.

It is sick how nice it is.

Truly sick.

Ken

Post #1....top picture...5th from the left.
Love the case....black and tan....just like a Doberman.

I've always said "If you're gonna dog it, be a Dobe."

Depends on how you want to pay. :-)

I don't ask for people's names either when they talk to me. Sometimes I have a nice conversation and never got the other guy's name. Keyword NICE. In the pool room no one has ever come up to as an anonymous person and started ragging on me trying to piss me off.

Like I said elsewhere anonymity isn't really the problem as long as everyone is cool. It's only when they aren't cool that I like to know WHO is being a dick so that whenever the chance presents itself I can call them on it in person and give them an opportunity to be a dick to me in person.

Out of all the people who have chosen to be dicks online that I have met in person only a couple have been bigger dicks in person. Everyone else has been really cool as I expected they would be. So no, id not required to buy a case. :-) But ID required if you want me to buy you a beer.

DYMPHNA ??? Really ?? Is that a word or a name ? :scratchhead:

John honored his casemaker-client privacy privilege in not naming the player who ordered this case.

It's actually an acronym.

I did and it got picked up a lot. People really love the simplicity and size of that one.
