Jeff, as I said...the time frame was not right at all, and my bar table game, was never that strong..except maybe at one pocket...I doubt I would even have played you, for anything substantial ! I would have tried to move you to a big table. (or play 1P)...However, there were some VERY strong bar table roadies, slipping around at that time, (some pretty well unknown) and they all had Andy and Slim in Amarillo, in their little black books !

I wish someone knew how to get in touch with Andy.(if he's still alive)..He could put an end to all this confusion, real quick !...And you 2 or 3 haters, can think what you want, I am comfortable knowing it wasn't me !... But I really do enjoy sparring with people, who THINK they know it all ! ;) :sorry: :thumbup:

And for those who never saw Dick play, the guy who wrote that he was the real deal got it right. Dick was a monster.

Apologize for what? Jeff is simply giving SJD an out. Given his previous statements with the large amount of detail, it is very likely it was SJD.

When is Dick gonna apologize for his two year plus bad mouthing of Freddy Bentivegna? And your (Lou) hatred of Freddy is really the only reason you spoke up for Dick.

LOL. The only man that can apologize is the one who told the story, and he did already. Of course, he never said it did not happen, only that he could not swear to God 100% it was him, and decided to give SJD the benefit of the doubt, which is more that SJD ever has done.
 
Of course he couldn't recognize him any longer. If you ever had that much gravel slung in your eyes from SJD's car hauling ass out of the parking lot before you could claim it, your vision may not be so great either.

Lou, I got exactly what I figured I would get from those two !...In fact, if they did apologize, I would NOT accept it !
..I would rather just let them continue to flap their gum's, and look foolish !...They can both do that fine, without me letting them off the hook !

PS..I may accept General Howeeain Eyiae's apology. At least he occasionally injected some humor in our exchanges!
..By the way, General SIR, my old car could not 'spin its wheels'...even on loose gravel ! :p
