EDIT: Hello all.

NO MORE BIDS PLEASE - MY SALE THAT WAS LISTED AS AN AUCTION IS CANCELLED.

I did not realize that AZ frowned upon selling items here in an auction format and so I put up a total of 6 "Auction Style" sales threads, including this one.

Mr. Wilson clarified for me what AZ's position is on this and I will gladly honor their wishes by taking these down. I never intended to break any rules.

I will either move the items to ebay or resubmit them here in a 'normal' for sale format.

If anyone has a continued interest in any item I tried to auction, you are welcome to inquire directly by pm.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. I assure you all, my intentions were good.

Best,
Brian kc

Hello fellow AZ'ers:

It's time for some fun!

High bidder will win this cue, auction-style, right here on AZ, no reserve, so high bid wins!

I have a lot of stuff that I want to wave goodbye to. I will be doing more of these same "Auction Style" sales here, on a number of other nice items including cases, cues, and accessories so please keep your eyes peeled.

Here we have a beautiful 6 point (3 hi - 3 low) Jeff Olney cue in dark brown bacote and birdseye maple with alternating bacote (long) & ebony (short) points. The long bacote points are single-veneered in ebony, tough to pick up in pics but a real nice touch. BTW, Jeff's point work is spectacular.

I heard about Jeff through the grapevine a few years ago and ordered this cue from him. I was so estatic when I received and played with it that I ended up ordering some more. If you do a search here you will find a thread dedicated to him featuring cues he has in the works and lots of nice compliments from his legion of fans. Th post count may be approaching 100 pages by now.

One other thing about his work. The joint he used on all of my cues will never fail you. It is not possible.

I am such a fan that if you look in my signature line you will see that I continue to use an Olney, alternating with a TS, as my player.

The cue is in terrific, hardly used condition.

It is straight both together and apart.

Specs:

Butt weight: 15.1 oz.

Shaft weight: 3.9 oz.

Total weight: 19 oz

Ivory ferrule w/red felt pad and Moori medium tip, 12.7 mm.

Wrap: Brown w/white speck linen

This could be your next player!

I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story.

Terms:

All bids must be posted to the thread. The winner will be the person with the high bid posted no later than this coming Thursday, July 21st, at 11:00 pm EST. Bids posted after 11:00 pm will not count. Paypal is fine, please pay no later than 24 hours after auction ends. Shipping will be $20.00, including insurance. I will only ship to CONUS.

Any questions can be posted to the thread but in case I do not respond timely, you may want to pm me (have a few going on concurrently).

Here's a chance for someone to get a great deal. Let's see if we can do auctions here on az. I prefer that you guys get a shot rather than the eBay mob.

Regardless of cost or loss, these items are going!

Thanks for your consideration & please post a bid.

Best,
Brian kc

'auction-end' time change

It was suggested to me that I change the auction end times slightly so if anyone is interested in bidding on more than one of my items near the end, they may do so.

This auction will now end Thursday, July 21st, 11:00 pm, EST. The original post has been updated to reflect this change.

Thanks!

Best,
Brian kc
